Argo Real Estate Opportunities Fund (AREOF) is a closed-end
fund that invests primarily in the commercial property markets
of SEE and CE. AREOF was floated on the London Stock
Exchange Alternative Investment Market (AIM) with 100 million
Euro in August 2006.
The Fund is managed by Argo Group Limited (AGL) an
emerging markets focused alternative asset management firm.
AGL was founded in 2000 and currently has Assets Under
Management of USD 400 million. AGL listed on AIM in 2008

ERA Shopping Park is the largest retail scheme in Iasi,
serving an urban population of 350.000 inhabitants
and a metropolitan area of over 500.000 inhabitants.

the city center and 3 minutes drive from one of the


largest neighborhoods of Iasi, Pacurari district. Public
transport facilities also serve the Centre.

ERA is located on one of the most important city gates


in Iasi, connecting the city with Suceava and the main
highway to Bucharest. The site has direct access from
the Pacurari street/E85, dual carriage way.

The project currently totals 50,000 sq m GLA and


includes a Carrefour owned hypermarket, a shopping
gallery of 11,000 sq m, Praktiker (DIY) 9,000 sq m,
Mobexpert (furniture) 8,000 sq m and Decathlon
(own store) 4,000 sq m.

OF DEVELOPMENT
The next phase will be construction of a 28.000 sq m GLA Mall.
The mall will incorporate both local and international retailers as well as a large
entertainment & leisure component consisting of a 10 screens cinema
multiplex, a bowling area of 1.600 sq m and a food-court.

Carrefour active customer number remains in 2013 is
the same as 2012, while the average basket is almost
30% higher than in Carrefour Felicia.

Mobexpert Iasi is the best performing regional store,


both in terms of sales and the growth trend. 2013
sales were more than 20% higher than in 2012.

Decathlon store sales improved in 2013 compared to


previous year and is ranked as the 5th best selling
store out of 12 stores, while in 2012 held the 9th
position out of 11.
