Abstract:

This project is about car and motor bike parking issues in University Of Management
and Technology. It is a student facilitation problem that is face by UMT Management
and UMT hire our team to get information about these issues and give proper and
suitable recommendation to improve these issues in UMT parking. Business

Acknowledgement:
This project is done due to my BRI Professor, Dr. Yasir Rashid because he give us a
lecture in a very impressive way that we can it understand it easily and apply those
concept in this project. I also thanks to my friend Samad who help me to complete
this project.

Introduction to the Project:
Background of the Problem:
Problem Background is that, that this problem is originated by UMT students in
University who faces problem in Parking. UMT parking is outside the campus and the
area of parking is not well constructed it is just a raw field with dust.
Problem Identification/Origination:
This problem is originated in UMT campus and identified by the students of the
university who complain to the UMT management and they are going to take action
on it by hiring our team.
Research Objectives:
To identify the root cause for parking issues
To find out the proper Solution for parking

Research Questions:

What sort of issues you face in parking?

Do this out-Campus parking affects your class timing? How
What are the factors that effects the parking area and generated problems?
Do you want to park your vehicle inside the Campus?
How can University solve the parking problems?

Literature Review:
There is no other research done on this topic before in university.

Research Design:

Sample/Participant Selection:
I select two participants for this project Zubair Iqbal and Umar Ahmad because both
have bikes and cars and face a problem in both car and bike parking areas and I
take interview from them about these issues.
Data Analysis and Discussion:
I collect data from the interview I take and with the discussion with Samad and my
questions are Induction base because these gives no boundaries to respondents.
Conclusion:
Both participant have similar answers regarding question 1. They said that they
charge a token fee in bike parking site but no token fee in car parking site and
parking site is very dusty and there is no shadow area in car parking also in bike
parking side. And for 2nd question they said that yes they do effects our class timing
because it is outside the campus and we often arrive late in class because of this.
And for 3rd question they said that in their point of view parking area is very dusty
and there is no shadow area and in summer there is hot conditions that effects cars
while driving them. For 4th question they said that yes sure they want to park their
cars or bike inside the campus because there is shadow and the area is not dusty to
dirt our clothes and for 5th question they said that if the university wants to give
parking outside the campus then they should clean the area with some cement
construction and give some shades in parking sites and they should end up the
token charges for bikes parking site

Conclusion is that, there is a issues with parking and students faces it and they
should construct a parking site and should take no token charges on bike parking
site otherwise give permission a students to park their vehicle inside the university.
