Blackburn College is offering three types of scholarship with


upto 50% reduction off course fees.
1. General International Scholarship (10% or 20%)
To be considered for a General International Scholarship you must:
Be paying overseas tuition fees
Be a self-financing student (all course fees
are paid directly by the student, or a family
member)
Be directly responsible for paying the fees).
If the student meets the International
Scholarship criteria they can receive an
award of 10% or 20% for the normal duration
of their course
Good English marks as identified by IELTS
Outstanding High School achievements
based on academic achievement,
community service or other extra-curricular
achievements

Nomination is from sibling or a partnership


college or education institution
There is a maximum 10 scholarships
awarded per country in any one year.
There are a small number of courses for
which scholarships are not offered. These are
currently:
Pre-Sessional English/IELTS Preparation
General English

2. Academic Excellence Scholarship (50%)


To be considered for the Academic Excellence Scholarships you must meet one of the following
components:

Academic Merit

English Language Proficiency

High School examination result of greater


than 75%; you may be awarded this
scholarship for your A-Level programme.
Subject to availability, two per year are
awarded.
Art & Design Scholarships can also be
awarded for portfolios considered to be of
an excellent standard by an Art & Design
specialist tutor.

If your English language qualification


is higher than IELTS 6.5+ or equivalent
for A-level study you may be awarded a
scholarship.
Subject to availability, two per year are
awarded

3. Loyalty scholarship (10%)


Finally, we also offer a Loyalty scholarship of a 10% discount from the next years course fees for
students progressing from the following courses:
From International Foundation Programme to Foundation Degrees, HNDs or Degree courses at
Blackburn College University Centre.
