• Reduced patient complaints and grievances from 43 per 100 visits to 2 per 1,000 visits.
• Instituted a standard 6-session authorization to contracted providers for each new patient
referred to network providers which decreased number of calls from network providers and
allowed utilization review staff to concentrate on more serious cases.
• Partnered with a local hospital provider and developed a Co Attending Utilization Review Team
which decreased hospital days by 3.2 days and increased revenue for partner hospital 35%.
• Named Manager of the Year, 1994, and Manager of the Month, 1993.

• Developed and implemented inpatient and outpatient protocols to decrease cost and increase
client/patient satisfaction.
• Realized 32% profit for capitated at risk contract within first year.

• Saved hospital approximately $300K by decreasing inpatient staffing from 40 full time employees
