Project:
Porting of JPEG Decoder on Samsung Reconfigurable Processor (SRP)
Role:

Porting and optimization of JPEG Decoder on Samsungs proprietary

multicore processor for thumbnail rendering on DTV platform. Major
task involved was to comply with the memory constraint of the
processor and modifying the sequential reference code for
multithreaded execution.
Project:
H.264 Encoder FPGA Validation using Trace32 at Samsung Headquarters,
Suwon, South Korea
Role:
Validation and verification of H.264 H/W encoders RTL image on FPGA.
This task involved modification of the firmware and test code for memory
mapping and data dumping for debugging as requested by the H/W
engineers.

Project:

Test Vector and firmware for HEVC H/W Decoder development.

Role:
Data extraction of various phases of the decoding process in HM
decoder and dumping the test vectors as per the requirement by H/W
team. These test vectors were used for verification of the hardware
design of different modules. I was leading a team of three for this
project and was in charge of delivery to the clients at Head Quarters,
South Korea.

CFF Encryptor & Encrypted Checker

Role:
Developed the AES-CTR algorithm for encryption of files complying to CFF
File Format v1.0.5 as per ISO/IEC 23001-7 and developed a checker module
to perform the checking of the encryptors output. This was a solo project and
was completely developed by me and I was responsible for the delivery of the
project.

Role:
Involved in development of multiplexer to multiplex Audio (AAC & LPCM),
Video (AVC H.264) and Subtitle (TTML) elementary streams to CFF
Container as specified in CFF Media Format v1.0.5.

Project:

MPEG DASH Multiplexer

Role:
Developed MPEG-4 Multiplexer for implementing Dynamic Adaptive
Streaming Over HTTP for on-demand profile as per ISO/IEC 23009-1.
Developed module for MPD generation based on the files used in a particular
content.

Project:

AVC Checker & Media Demuxer for Sony XAVC Format

Role:
Implementation of check items covering AVC Intra profiles Class 50 and
Class 100 as per SMPTE RP: 2027: AVC Intra-Frame Coding

Specification for SSM Card Applications and AVC Long GOP

profiles.
Demultiplexing of Audio and Video elementary streams from XAVC
(ISO Base Media) compliant file format.
