dog, Paige. BACK TO THE SEA: A harbor seal, who had ventured out of the water
to sun himself on the rocks on Duxbury Beach, heads back into the
waves on Thursday. The seal seemed to have difficulty making his
way down the beach but eventually returned to the water.

NEW ENGLAND COUNTY CUP CHAMPIONS: Jack Venturelli and Will Crowley of
Duxbury were part of the Plymouth County Mite Minor hockey team that took home the
New England County Cup in April. Plymouth County beat Norfolk County 6-2 to take
the championship. Both players play for Duxbury Youth Hockey and the Bay State CHAMPIONS: The sixth grade girls basketball team came in second place in the South
Breakers. Shore Girls League in February.
FIELD HOCKEY FEEDER SYSTEM: The Duxbury girls varsity field hockey team poses with the sixth, seventh, and eighth grade youth field hockey players at a jamboree fundraiser

IT NEVER GETS OLD: Senior captain Quinn Cully raises the championship

Jake Harvey and Head Coach Chris Sweet look on. The boys earned their
sixth straight state championship with a 13-12 win over St. John’s Prep,
who earlier this season stopped the Dragon’s 99-game winning streak
against Mass. teams.
