Centre for Responsible Business (CRB) is a centre of excellence facilitating social impacts and

organizational behaviour change towards incorporating responsible business strategies, policies

and practices that contribute to harmonious industrial relations in workplace, organisational
productivity and growth. CRB works with and supports actors and stakeholders across the business
landscape and supply chains - national and transnational corporations, brands and buyers, local
manufacturers and suppliers (SMEs), national and international organisations, civil society
organisations and governments - as they promote and move towards a more sustainable and
responsible future.
CRB develops capacity building and research programmes and multi-stakeholder initiatives in the
field of CSR/sustainable development and around social and environmental standards in supply
chains. CRB helps build capacities for design, development and implementation of self- and coregulatory social and environmental standards as instruments and mechanisms for promoting
responsible business policies and practices. CRBs work focuses on the essence of voluntary
