chain tongs (pinzas)

: Is a pipe wrench used for tuning large pipes;
an adjustable chain circles the pipe with its ends connected to the head
whose teeth engage the pipe.

2. Christmas tree (Pozo de Petroleo)

: The set of valves, spools, and
fittings connected to the top of a well to direct and control the flow of
formation fluids from the well.

3. Gloves (guantes)
: They are garments covering the whole hand ;
gloves protect and confort hands against cold damage by friction, liquids
that hand shouldnt touch. So its only necessary to use them in a danger
situation.

4. Drilliing rig (sarta de perforacion) : The machine which creates holes

in the earth sub-surface. They can be massive structures housing
equipment used to drill water wells.

5. Barrels of oil (barriles de petroleo) : The barrel of oil equivalent

(BOE) is a unit of energy based on the approximate energy released by
burning one barrel (42 U.S. gallons or 158.9873 litres) of crude oil

6. Overalls ( overoles): is a type of garment which is usually used as

protective clothing when working.
7. Hard hat (casco): is a type of helmet predominantly used in workplace
environments such as indrustrial or construction sites to protect the
head from injury due to falling objects, impact with other objects, debris,
rain, and electric shock.
8. Safety googles (gafas de seguridad): they are garments covering
the whole hand; gloves protect and confort hands against cold damage
by friction, liquids that hand shouldnt touch. So it is only necessary to
use the min a danger situation.
9. Boots (Botas): they are a kind of shoes that have a protective
reinforcement in the toe which protects the foot from falling objects or
compression.
10.
Pipelines (tuberias) : Pipelines exist for the transport of crude
and refined petroleum fuels such as oil natural gas and biofuels and
other fluids including sewage slurry water and beer.
11.First aid kids (botiquin primeros auxilios)
12.
Drill bit (trepano) : The tool used to crush or cut rock.
Everything on a drilling rig directly or indirectly assists the bit in crushing
or cutting the rock.
13.Ear protectors (Protectores Auditivos) : The surest method of
preventing occupational deaftness is to reduce noise at the source by
engineering methods. In such work places, workers wear hearing
protectors to reduce the amount of noise reaching the ears.
14.
Mud tank (Tanque de Lodo) : A mud tank is an open top container
typically made of square Steel tube and Steel plate to store drilling fluid
on a drilling rig.

15.
Traveling block (Eslabon Giratorio) : An arrangement of pulleys
or sheaves which moves up or down in the derrick through which the
drilling cable is strong to the rotary drive.
16.
Conductor pipe (Tubo conductor) : The conductor pipe is a
large diameter pipe that is set into the ground to provide the initial
stable structural foundation for a borehole or oil well.
17.
Derrick: a large load-bearing structure, usually bolted
construction of metal beams. In drilling, the standart derrick has corners
of the crow block.
18.
Pulley (Poleas): is a wheel on an axle or shaft that is designed to
support movement and change of direction of a cable or belt along its
circumference.
19.
Beams (Viga (haz)): A beam is a structural element that is
capable of withstanding load primarily by resisting bending. The bending
force induced into the material of the beam as a result of the external
loads, own weight, span and external reactions to these loads is called a
bending moment.
20.
Crown Block (Bloque de Corona): a wheel, whith a grooved rim
for carrying a line, that turns in a frame or block and serves to change
the direction of or to transmit forc, as when one end of the simple
machines.
