retested for possible fixation and reviving. One of these PCs was
reported to have a damaged PSU. Each of the PCs were tested
thoroughly for possible damages in the main components such as the
hard disk drive, RAM, motherboard and power supply unit, etc. First,
RAMs were tested and interchanged PC by PC to try the most suitable
combination in where each PC will boot up. In this way, one PC was
able to boot up and run its OS. As for the other PCs, the group tried to interchange the HDDs of the
remaining PCs hoping that any one of them will be able to boot up. By interchanging the HDDs, one PC
was able to boot up. With another PC able to boot up, there came another problem in this one PC, the OS
was detected to be not a genuine copy. As for the people behind the repairs, one has the knowledge about
fixing this one problem up. The PC with the problem on the OS was repaired in just a matter of minutes.
As said earlier, one PC has been reported to have a problem in the PSU. This was the last PC in which the
group was able to fix. However, after thorough inspection, it was noticed that the PSU of the said PC was
not damaged and need not to be fixed. It was learned that the power button of the said PC was the one
causing the problem wherein one of the wire of its power button assembly was disconnected to its proper
terminal. The repaired PCs was also lacking a fully working mouse and keyboard. With this, Sir Acosta
instructed the group to canvass for less costly but not easily broken mouse and keyboard giving some
amount of money. The group was able to acquire keyboards and mouse at a reasonably cheap price. Only
3 out of the 5 PCs was able to be brought to Sitio Malasa by Sir Acosta.
