4. Became to know Politics is the affair of the country.
5. Voter education is the most interesting subject for almost all
the villages and they are making preparation for registration
for voting.
Challenges/ Difficulties
1. Some trainees are very basic in their education and therefore
it is a bit difficult to give training for those people.
2. It is difficult to get full number of estimate people to come.
3. It is hard to get the permission from the local authority.
4. Communication was very limited there (e.g. phone).
5. Some people were facing health problem (some trainers and
trainees get sick).
6. Unfortunately, it was a peak time for the local peoples work
(e.g. plucking beans/fruits/rice)
7. It had very hot weather.
8. The permission letter had wrong dates written and so it was
hard to get permission there.
9. Some trainees are sacred of the word Politic.
10.
There were discrimination in religion, skins and ethnicity.
Overcoming
1. We got support from religious group (Church).
2. We got support from local authority.
3. Perseverance and courage help us to done the training.

Achievements
1. While giving training, the trainees were all catch up and could
do discussion well.
2. Trainees promise us to share what they learnt as they became
to understand about Gender equality and knowing women and
men had the same opportunity.
3. All the Civil Society Organizations were participating the
discussion in the meeting of the seminar. We were able to
discuss and able to answer the questions they ask about our
action plans to all attending Organizations.
4. We got support from some organizations.
Challenges and Difficulties
1. Transportation was very difficult as the traveling rout is very
hard.
2. Had difficulty in accommodation for the training.
3. There were many difficulties while we were planning to meet
with authority for the permission of seminar.

4. The attending president of Women affair negatively criticized


our seminar.
5. When we are talking about Gender, there were
misunderstanding and became as a challenge topic.
Overcoming
1. We were able to make our seminar on 18th day as we invited
all the civil society organizations and government
organizations.
2. We were able to accomplish the training as we tried to get
interests from the local public and local authority.

Success
1. Trainees actively participated in training.
2. Meeting with local authority was successful.
3. We are able to make the trainees understand about women
have opportunity to be candidate in the election.
Challenges and difficulties
1. Difficulties in giving input (e.g. trainees were holding their
stereotypic ideas)
2. Training places are very far.
3. There were difficulties in calculations and lists.
4. Training time was a peak time for the local people as they
have to collect their plantation.

Overcoming
1. We are able to overcome and success our training in 5 villages
as we change our title from political affair as capacity
building for the local people as we are working for the civil
society.
Myaung Mya
Success
a. We are able to share about Women Rights to young
women who didnt heard about them.
b. Women from villages (esp. young women) are interested
in political affair.
c. People living in the city are able to understand about
voter education.
Challenges and difficulties
1. Local authority made a warning about the
training as doing a politic.
2. There were many difficulties to get
permission for the training from the
authority.

Overcoming
1. As we were giving perseverance and tried spirit, the local
authority became to understand and the trainings were
successful finally.
