KNOWN ISSUES FOR TEAMSITE 6.7.2
Definitions:
(TeamSite) = effects all current TeamSite users
(SitePublisher) = will only effect SitePublisher users

TeamSite Issues:
Issue 1490: Find and Replace Different behavior when
logging in as a different user. (EDS Issue) (TeamSite)
The find and replace works, comes back with odd results.
An internal server error was displayed in TeamSite 6.7.1 before the upgrade was installed. This is
consistent with this error, however after additional testing this seems to be an issue when a find and
replace is not fully executed.
In the EDS development environment, the error "Internal Server Error" message is displayed.

When EDS was logged in as Situser11 and selected 3 files to perform a Find and
Replace then entered a search string of test.doc. Do NOT click on find yet.

Logged off user situser11 and logged on as situser12. Entered the same
information for the Find and Replace window and clicked Find. Now the Internal
Server Error pops up.

Issue 1571: Mac Issue - Closing out of the my local files

window (Interwoven Issue) (TeamSite)
After downloading a file, the "My Local Files" window displays. When a user tries to
"Close" this window, nothing happens. An error is showing up on the java console.

Issue 1596: Mac Issue Files selected for import not

displaying in the bottom pane until you click in the pane
(Currently an issue on Production) (Interwoven Issue)
(TeamSite)
This is a problem with TeamSite 6.7.1 as well as 6.7.2. This will remain unresolved
when deployed to production with 6.7.2.
To reproduce the error: Try to import more than 15 files at once. Select the 15 files and click
"Add".
It appears that the files are not added to the "File Path" list. Click in the lower pane or the vertical
scroll bar, and the files display.

Issue 1643: Find and Replace Error on Page (Currently an

issue on Production) (EDS Issue) (TeamSite)
Not very many users will try to do this. There is a slight difference in behavior between Prod and
Dev.

Steps:

1. Navigate to EDS/EDS/ and select all files

2. Select the first 15 .shtml files (15 is not a critical number)
3. Go to Actions -> Find and Replace
4. Enter the string .doc in the "Find" box and click "Find"
5. Keep the "Find and Replace" window open.
6. Logout of TeamSite (you can also keep this window open after logging out).
7. Go back to the "Find and Replace" window and click "Edit" on anyone of the files
8.

Click "OK" on the "You have closed..." pop up.

9. When the new login page appears, log back in using this window.
Behavior in Dev: The dcr attempts to open but results in the "Error on page".
Behavior in Prod: The user is taken to the workarea mini-site.

Issue 1652: The Cursor is not starting in the beginning of the

line. (Interwoven/Ektron Issue) (TeamSite)
When editing a template with a VFE, the cursor does not go to the first position. It seems to be 2
spaces over.
- Do a File -> New Form Entry -> about_us
- Place your cursor in one of the vfe sections
- Notice that the cursor does not start in position 1.

Issue 1659: My Local Files File status not refreshing after

uploading/unlocking file (Interwoven Issue) (TeamSite)
Scenario 1:
- Edit a non-templated file. (The "My Local File" file "status" shows a lock and a pencil for that file).
- Click 'upload' - keep the temporary local copy after uploading.
- After the file is uploaded look at the "My Local File" file "status". The lock and the pencil still
displays.
- Re-display the "My Local Files" display. The pencil does not display.
Scenario 2:
- Edit a non-templated file. (The "My Local File" file "status" shows a lock and a pencil for that file).
- Click 'Upload Unlock' - keep the temporary local copy after uploading.
- After the file is uploaded look at the "My Local File" file "status". The lock and the pencil still
displays.
- Re-display the "My Local Files" display. The lock and the pencil does not display.

NOTE: The "My Local Files" display gets refreshed automatically when choosing to remove the
local file.

Issue 1699: User ID not retained at log in (Interwoven Issue

Case # 767551) (TeamSite)
When you logoff of TeamSite and close your browser window, the user ID is not
retained.

Issue 1788: Receiving error when viewing the tags tab on

the Differences User Interface (Interwoven Issue)
(TeamSite)
This is not a consistent error. Periodically, when viewing the "Tags" tab on the
Differences UI, an error is displayed. The error says that the "Object doesn't
support this property or method".
To get to the Differences UI, select a modified file and "Compare it to Staging". Go
to the "Tags" tab. The error will display.

Issue 1852: Preview Mode of Contact Us Template Directory

and Regional Offices Links not working. (EDS Issue)

Currently an issue in 6.7.1 Production environment, still an issue in 6.7.2

Issue 1847: Local files losing focus (Interwoven Issue) (IE7

users)
When working with local files, they are losing focus on the window that should be in the
foreground. This seems to be isolated to IE7.
Here are the 2 scenarios:
Scenario 1:
- Find a .txt document (it can be other types of documents) and do a Edit -> Edit With.
Notice how the "Open With" window goes to the background.

- Find a .txt document.
- From the content pane, select the file and click "Edit"
- Notice that the "TextPad" window goes to the background.

Issue 2028: Mac Issue - Un-publish and Delete workflow

When deleting or un-publishing a file, the workflow template window goes to the background.

To recreate:

Select file that has previously been published

Un-publish (or Delete) the file - File -> Un-publish (File -> Delete Content)

Click "OK" when the confirmation screen displays.

The workflow template window will lose focus and go to the background

To fix this issue the user will need to reset some browser settings.
Firefox 2 resolution with MAC:
1. Go to Firefox > Preferences.

2. Click the Content tab (Ensure Enable JavaScript and Enable Java is
checked).

3. Click Advanced under Enable JavaScript and checkmark Raise or lower

windows.

5. Click OK on the Content window.
6. Close your FireFox browser session and open again.

1. Go to Tools > Internet Options

Issue 1896: Mac Issue nothing happens when clicking the

visual preview ? and X icons. (Interwoven issue Case
#766578) (TeamSite)
When I edit a .page and click preview, the .page displays. The Visual Preview bar displays in the
upper left corner. Nothing happens when you click on the '?' and 'x' icons.

Issue 2029: Receiving Permission Denied error when trying

to restore a file (Interwoven Issue case# 00767708)
(TeamSite)
To recreate this issue view a list of "All and Deleted Files". Find a file that was
deleted. Click "Restore". A pop-up error message "Permission denied trying to
execute the command iw.ccpro.undeleted" will display.
As a work around: Files can be restored by going to "versions" you can restore
deleted files just fine. It's only the "Restore" button that you see when you choose
"View --> All and Deleted Files" that has the problem. (the helpdesk can help you
restore from the versions folder.)

Issue 1653: VFE Windows appearing in the background

(Interwoven/Ektron issue) (TeamSite)
The "active" window is going into the background.
Scenario:
- Open a template that has a VFE.
- Edit the VFE by inserting an image.
- When the "Picture Properties" window opens, click the "Insert Image" button.
- Notice how the browse for link window goes to the background.

There is an issue where more than one back reference will not work. For example, a
link such as this WILL work:
href="../about_us.shtml"
However, the following will NOT work:
href="../../index.shtml"
href="../../../index.shtml"
...and so on...
A ticket has been opened with Interwoven to see if they can resolve this remaining
issue. Case #00766799

Issue 2131: Free Form list cutting off bottom of subscript text.
(EDS Issue)(TeamSite) Only the Free Form List Template is experiencing this
issue, all other Templates are functioning normally.

Issue 1039: Receiving error when clicking on cancel on data

capture template (Interwoven) it is not likely that a user
will follow these steps. (TeamSite)
Receiving an error when clicking 'Cancel' on the dct:
In order to reproduce the error, execute the following steps:
1.

Created a new dcr and clicked 'Finish'.

2.

Saved the dcr.

3.

On the 'Attach to existing task or new job' window, clicked 'Back'.

4.

Clicked 'Cancel'.

Issue 2023: Mac issue - Multiple browser tabs opening in

various situations. (Interwoven Issue) (TeamSite)
If your browser is configured to open new pages in a new tab, 2 tabs are opened:

When viewing local files (View -> My Local Files). I am attaching a screenshot of the 2 tabs
- Mac_View_Local_Files.doc.

When previewing a file by selecting a file and going to Actions -> Preview.

SitePublisher Issues:
Issue 1884: TinyMCE customizations (Interwoven Issue)
(SitePublisher)
A feature request has been submitted to Interwoven and on the next TeamSite
release this will be included. Interwoven engineering says that the customizations
that we are trying are not possible at this time, but perhaps will be available in SP1
in 2009. I have attached the email thread (FW Case-00762865.msg). This will have
to be noted as a "Known Issue".

Issue 2014: Standard pop box displaying right arrows when

decreasing the width. (EDS Issue) (SitePublisher)
The right arrows will cause IE6 to display any content to the right of the Standard
pop box below the component with the right arrows.

Issue 2044: .page file names (SitePublisher)(expected

functionality)
When naming .pages, only alphanumeric characters plus the - and _ characters are
allowed. This is expected functionality

Issue 2068: /sites is needed in the URL when viewing .pages

on the preview server. (SitePublisher)
This is to notify users. Where do we put the /sites in the URL>

Issue 2054: Formatting of the standard pop box sections (EDS

The spacing between sections differs between current and new. If there are 2 sections and the top
sections content does not take up the "entire space", then the next section starts in this sections
"space".

Issue 2076: Automatically naming the agency_settings.xml file

agency_settings.xml can not be renamed.

Issue 1873: Metatagging .page file (E-gov Environment Issue)

The Metatagger is not suggesting terms for xml files with .page extensions. This will be resolved at
a later phase.

Issue 1937: Long Agency Names not wrapping in Agency

Banner (EDS issue)
For SitePublisher pages, the agency banner is pushed to the right if an agency name is too long.
See attached screenshot - AgencyBanner_LongAgencyName.doc.
For the existing .shtml pages, the agency name will wrap to multiple lines.

Issue 1938: IE6 Display problems when component content is

wider than the component lay out. (IE6/EDS Issue)
There seems to be an IE6 display problem when the component contents are wider
than the component layout. (This is easily seen when the component has arrows
pointing to the right.) The content well drops down into the left navigation bar and is
left justified.

Issue 1971: Incorrect Font for Page Updated text - .shtml

The font for the "Page Updated" text is different from the font being used on the production pages.

(IE 6) When increasing the text size, the right nav bar moves into the content well.

When decreasing the text size, the "Text Size ... Text Only Site ... Accessibility" links shft to
the center of the state banner.

3.

(IE6) When decreasing the text size, the agency banner (and the content below) shifts
down (i.e. there is a empty space between the state banner and the agency banner).

4.

(IE 7, Firefox) When increasing the text size to the max, the "Text Size ... Text Only site ...
Accessibility" links disappear.

workflow from Action New Job and No files selected

Navigate to the /sites directory

Don't select any files

Go to Actions -> New Job

Select the "SitePublisher" workflow, the out of the box instantiation page displays.

Issue 2275: Missing Image when Adding a Brand New

basic_image component (Interwoven)(SitePublisher)
When adding the component to a page, the image is missing. The user just needs to add the image
to the component to resolve the issue. This is expected functionality and this is to notify users.

Issue 2287: Components using TinyMCE Line Spacing

(Interwoven) (SitePublisher)
The Line Spacing for the Tiny MCE editor is as follows:

Enter: new paragraph

Shift + Enter: New line

Interwoven said editor is functioning like it should.
