Evidence 1 & First of all, the moral value of responsibility is clearly detailed portrayed/shown in the character of Mother. Mother takes elaboration care of the children. She is always at home ready to play with the children and read to them. After Father is taken away, she writes stories to find money to support the family. She also tries her best to provide for the children and she does not want her children to ask for help from strangers. Evidence 2 & Next, being responsible is also shown in the character detailed of Bobbie. She fetches coal and lights the fire on the first elaboration night at their new house. She takes charge and gets her siblings to think of a way to get their mother the things the doctor said she must have. So, she writes a letter to the Old Gentleman asking for the things for her Mother. She takes care of her brother and sister whenever they go. She stays with the injured boy, Jim, in the tunnel and tries to make him comfortable by putting her petticoat under his broken leg.
