The LESSEE has to provide all fuel, landing/handling/parking/storage fees, crew HOTAC including meals and transportation as w
import duties where applicable as well as local taxes. LESSEE has to provide passenger/luggage and cargo insurance and in some
the costs for War Risk.
Furthermore the LESSEE has to pay the over flight/navigation charges. This point is a bit complicated. When flights are operating

owner of the flight number, which can be readily identified by its code. The aircraft owner will probably have a code, but will not
because he will end up paying the bills.
Therefore, an ACMI lease requires that the LESSEE provide his own flight number, so that the bills can be directed to them.
Thus, an ACMI lease can usually only take place between two ICAO members states airlines unless other arrangements have been

DRY LEASE
is the lease of the basic aircraft without insurances, crew, maintenance etc. Usually dry lease is utilized by leasing companies and
requires the LESSEE to put the aircraft on his own AOC and provide aircraft registration. A typical dry lease starts from two years
certain conditions as far as depreciation, maintenance, insurances etc. are concerned.
There are generally two types of dry lease, an Operating Lease and a Finance Lease.
Operating Lease:
generally a lease term that is short compared to the economic life of the aircraft being leased. An operating lease is commonly use
for a term of 2-7 years. With an operating lease the aircraft doesn't appear on the Lessee's balance sheet.
Finance Lease:
also known as a capital lease, is defined when one of the following conditions are met:
at the end of the lease term the Lessee has the option to purchase the aircraft at an agreed price.
the lease payments are more than 90% of the market value of the aircraft.
the term of the lease is over 75% of the aircraft's usable life.
With a finance lease the aircraft appears on the Lessee's balance sheet, as it is viewed as a purchase.

Warning:
Mixed Fuelling
The term mixed fuelling applies when an aircraft is being:
-cut-type fuel.(JP-1 JP4-JP8 - Jet Propellant)
-type fuel into a mixture of wide-cut-type fuel and kerosene-type fuel until the amount of kerosene-type
times the fuel quantity that remained in the tanks after the first leg following a refuelling with wide-cut-type fuel.
Characteristic of wide-cut type fuel
The presence of wide-cut-type fuel in the aircraft fuel tanks increases the risk of fire and explosion. When kerosene-type and wid
mixed, the fuel/air vapours are more flammable.
Electrostatic charges
Electrostatic charges are generated as fuel passes through the servicing equipment and through agitation and splashing in the fuel
charges dissipate with time. Thus a decrease in fuelling rate lessens the chance of spark ignition inside the fuel tanks.
Planning of ground handling activities
Mixed fuelling takes more time than normal fuelling, due to the reduced fuel flow rate (approximately half of the normal rate).Ta
when planning ground handling of an aircraft.
The following restrictions are in addition to the normal regulations:
Passenger embarkation is not permitted during fuelling.
fu
aircraft before fuelling starts and may only be removed after completion
operation.
of vehicles and equipment stationed at the aircraft must be switched off before fuelling starts, and may only be switch
completion.
