Trendy

Winter
by Faieza Imamdin
Keeping it
Sixties Mod:
Mini-skirts, trapeze dresses,
patent Mary Janes, graphic
bobs and pastel colours are all
the rage globally, presenting
a fresh take on the Swinging Sixties London. Slip on a
sweetly short dress or skirt with
a slightly flared hem. Add flirty
details like bows or a collar for
added effect, and transition
into winter by slipping on thigh
high boots. J. Lo loves this
trend!

All-over Knits:
One of the most prominent trends for winter is the comfortingly soft, full look in wool, as seen at
Stella McCartney and Marc Jacobs. Nuzzle up to a cuddly sweater dress or go daring in knit pants
and a matching top. This autumn/winter is all about neutrals, so stick to beigy browns, greys and
winter whites.
Bold Sportswear:
From Fendi to Miu Miu, the
athletic aesthetic continues to
inspire designers. Seen both
in fleece and mesh fabrics in
a red, blue and black palette,
each item brought a cool,
dynamic sportswear vibe to
the runway. Who said fashion
doesnt equal comfortable?
