Week of Compassion's Relief Efforts in Nepal
The earthquake that struck west of Nepal's capital of Katmandu is the most
powerful to hit the region in over 80 years. Week of Compassion is providing
emergency aid to save lives and provide food, water, medical supplies,
blankets, clothes and temporary shelter to affected and displaced
individuals and families.To contribute on-line: visit our giving page at

Compassion - Nepal Earthquake Relief from the drop down menu.To

Mother's Day Bake Sale


Come to the Gathering Space after the
9:30 a.m. and before the 11:00 a.m. service
this Sunday,Mother's Day, to help raise
funds for Woodmont's Youth Group Mission
and Outreach programs. If you can
provide items for the sale, please deliver
them to the upstairs warming kitchen by
noon on Saturday, May 9th. We will have a
team to receive, price, and artfully
package your goods for sale on Sunday. If

MORGAN SCOTT MISSION TRIPS

Morgan and Scott are Tennessee counties


located east and north of Nashville between I-40 and Kentucky. They are the
two poorest counties in The Volunteer
State.A group of 10-12 Woodmonters
travels to these counties two times per year
to complete specific projects - working side
by side with members of your church family
to change lives. You will seek God, share
love and serve others on Morgan Scott

The family and friends of Dr. Jim Collins. Dr. Collins passed away on May
3rd in Atlanta, GA. Dr. Collins was a past minister of Humboldt, TN Central
Avenue Christian Church, and Minister Emeritus of Peachtree Christian
Church in Atlanta. There will be two Memorial Services held in Georgia.
The first service will be held on Sunday, May 10th at 2:00 p.m. at
Peachtree Christian Church. The second service will be held on Tuesday,
May 12th at 2:00 p.m., at Sharp Memorial Methodist Church.

Randy and Beth Pattillo on the death of Beth's brother, David Pattillo, on
Friday, May 1st. Services will be held in Lubbock, TX.
Steve and Betty McHugh on the death of Betty's brother John E.
Bouchard III on April 29th in Bon Aqua, TN. Services were held on May 4th
at Forest Hills Baptist Church.
