During your exhibition, you also need to talk about each of the following subjects:
MATH: (10 points) (Must complete ALL problems)
On the day of your Exhibition, your teacher will give you the following types of problems to solve:
(Practice!)
o Solve your given long-division problem anyway you like and give a clear explanation to how you solved it. Be
prepared to solve either a 3-digit number divided by a 1-digit number, or a 3-digit number divided by a 2-digit
number.
o Solve TWO given fraction addition problems. One will be with common denominators and one will be with
uncommon denominators. You may draw fractions sticks to help you, as part of your explanation.
o Convert a given fraction to its decimal and percent value.
STUDENTS MUST USE VISUAL AIDS FOR EACH PART OF THEIR PRESENTATIONS!!!
Students are required to fulfill each part of this checklist for their exhibitions. Students MAY,
however, come see their teachers if they have an idea for presenting something other than what
is listed above. A change from this checklist MUST be approved by the teacher well in advance
of exhibitions.
Students must receive at least 80% on their presentations to pass. If they don’t pass, they will be
required to redo their presentations or parts of their presentations within one week, with or
without their parents being present.
