I nstitute of Hotel Management, Yamunanagar is the 5th I HM of Haryana which has been setup by CFA from Ministry of
Tourism, Govt. of I ndia and will start its 1 st academic session J uly, 2015. Applications on prescribed format are invited for the
following positions:1.
Principal 1 post (General) - Pay Scale Rs. 37400-67000+GP 8700
Essential Qualifications :
1.Degree from recognized university
2. 3-year diploma in Hotel Management from an I nstitute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management / State Board of Techn ical
Education / Recognized University. The candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in degree/diploma in Hotel Management. For Graduates
in Hotel Managements, I tem No. 1 is not necessary
Experience: At least 25 years of experience in teaching and / or hotel induatry including minimum 10 years as Head of
Department in hotel operations related subject(s) in an I nstitute of Hotel Management affiliated to National Council for Hotel
Management & Catering Technology State Board of Technical Education / Recognized University
OR
At least 25 years of experience in teaching and / or hotel industry including minimum 10 years as Principal in a Food Craft
I nstitute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology.
OR
Minimum 25 years Hotel industry experience including minimum 15 years in Managerial Capacity in 4 star / Heritage or above category approved
hotel.
* Hotel operations related subjects are: Food Production, Food & Beverage Service, Accomodation Operations/ House Keeping
and Front Office.
Age Limit as on 9.5.2015 Not exceeding 52 years. Upper age limit is Relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC /BC and departmental candidates and
as specified for other categories by State Government from time to time. Under no circumstances the age should exceed 57 years.
Sr. Lecturer-cum-Sr. I nstructor 1 post (General) -Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800+GP 5400 (starting pay band salary Rs.14880/ Essential Qualifications :
Full time Becholars degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management after 10+2 from recognized University securing not less
than 60% marks in aggregate.
OR
3 years diploma in Hotel Management from National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology / State Board of Technical Education
securing not less than 60% marks in aggregate.

Experience: At least 10 years of experience in teaching and / or hotel industry including minimum 3 years teaching experience
as Lecturer cum I nstructor in an I nstitute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology / Sate
Board of Technical Education / Recognized University.
OR
Minimum 10 years Hotel industry experience including minimum 3 years in Managerial Capacity in 4 star / Heritage or above category approved
hotel.
Age Limit as on 9.5.2015 Not exceeding 40 years. Upper age limit is Relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC / BC and departmental candidates
and as specified for other categories by State Government from time to time. Under no circumstances the age should exceed 45 years.

Lecturer-cum I nstructor 1 post (General) -Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800+GP 4200 (starting pay band salary Rs.12090/ Essential Qualifications :
Full time Bachelors degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management after 10+2 from recognized University and full time Masters
degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management securing not less that 60% marks in aggregate either in bachelo rs or masters
degree and at least 5 (five) years teaching experience in an institute affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology /
State Board of Technical Education / Recognized University.
OR
Full time Bachelors degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management after 10+2 from recognized University securing not leass
than 60% marks in aggregate and at least 7 (Seven) years teaching experience in an I nstitute affiliated to National Council for Hotel
Management & Catering Technology / State Board of Technical Education / Recognized University and / or Hotel & Catering I ndustry.
Age as on 9.5.2015 Not exceeding 35 years. Upper age limit is Relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC / BC and departmental candidates
and as specified for other categories by State Government from time to time. Under no circumstances the age should exceed 40 years.

Assistant Lecturer-cum Assistant I nstructor 3 post (General) Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800+GP 3600 (starting pay band salary
Rs.10230/Essential Qualifications :
Full time Bachelors degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management after 10+2 from recognized University and full time Masters
degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management securing not less that 60% marks in aggregate either in bachelors or masters
degree.
OR
Full time Bachelors degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management after 10+2 from recognized University securing not less
than 60% marks in aggregate and at least 2 (TWO) years experience in Hotel & Catering I ndustry. Persons who were working as Teaching
Associate as on 20-02-2013 will be eligible to apply for the post with two years teaching experience.
Age as on 9.5.2015 Not exceeding 30 years. Upper age limit is Relaxable up-to 5 years in case of SC / BC and departmental candidates and as
specified for other categories by State Government from time to time. Under no circumstances the age should exceed 35 years.

Accountant 1 post (General)Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800+GP 3600 (starting pay band salary Rs.10230/ Essential Qualifications :
Graduate from recognized University with 5 years experience in commercial or educational institutes.
Desirable:
(i)
Graduation in commerce from recognized University.
(ii)
Knowledge of computers.
Age as on 9.5.2015 Not exceeding 42 years. Upper age limit is Relaxable up-to 5 years in case of SC / BC and as specified for other
categories by State Government from time to time.

Assistant 1 post (General)-Pay Scale Rs. 9300-34800+GP 3600 (starting pay band salary Rs.10230/ Essential Qualifications: Graduate from recognized University with atleast 3 years experience in administrative and accounts with
knowledge of computer.

Age as on: 9.5.2015Not exceeding 42 years. Upper age limit is Relaxable up-to 5 years in case of SC / BC and as specified for other
categories by State Government from time to time.

Librarian 1 post (General)- Pay Scale Rs. 5200-20200+GP 2400 (starting pay band salary Rs.7440 / Essential Qualifications: Degree in Library Science from a recognized University or Graduate with Diploma in Library Science from
recognized University with 3 years experience of working in a library.
Desirable: Certificate course in computer.
Age as on: 9.5.2015 Not exceeding 42 years. Upper age limit is Relaxable up-to 5 years in case of SC / BC and as specified for other
categories by State Government from time to time.

Technician-cum-Care Taker 1 post (General)-Pay Scale Rs. 4440-7440+GP 1400 (starting pay band salary Rs. 4860/Essential Qualifications: 10+2 standard pass with I .T.I Trade certificates a mechanic / electrician or both.
Possessing wireman license essential in addition to above with 3 years experience
