Dr. S. K. Basu - Professor Emeritus, COEP, Pune
Dr. S. K. Basu has more than 55 years of overall experience. He has worked with Central Mechanical
Engineering Research Institute, Durgapur as Director for more than 10 years & came back to teaching at
Jadavpur University. Post that he was with IIT Delhi as Chair Professor and now is Professor Emeritus at COEP,
Pune. His books on Triboloy & Tero-technology are popular amongst many researchers. He guides the team to
strategize the initiatives such as relevance of topics for a conference, content and methodologies to be
discussed. He is scholar par excellence. We are honored to have Dr. Basu as an Executive Member.

Hemant P. Urdhwareshe - Director, Institute of Quality & Reliability

He has worked for 28 years at Cummins as Sr. GM Product Engineering, GM Quality, GM Supplier Quality
Improvement, Management Representative, DGM Total Quality System, and Functional Excellence Leader for
Reliability Engineering. He is the first ASQ Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt in India

Dinkar Joshi - Head, MMEndurance Technologies, Aurangabad

Mr. Dinkar Joshi has over 23 years of rich experience in the Operations & Maintenance field. He has been
instrumental in planning maintenance activities of various equipments & machinery for reducing downtime &
enhancing operational effectiveness. He is skilled at effective utilization of eight pillar methodology of TPM for
bottom line improvement through KAIZENS.

Ajay Kavade - Asst. GM, VolksWagen India Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Kavade has more than 22 years of experience in the field of Maintenance and Automation with leading
automobile manufacturers. Presently he is Assistant General Manager, Production with Volkswagen India Pvt.
Ltd. Prior joining VW, he worked as Senior Manager with Tata Motors Ltd. & handled Maintenance in the
passenger car unit. His areas of expertise include Robotics & Automation, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
& people management.

Sunil Kamerkar - Principal Consultant, Survik Software Ltd

An Engineer & MBA by qualification Sunil has developed interest for Statistics & its use for solving business
problems over last 2 decades. Apart from advising companies on their maintenance & reliability practices, he is
a regular speaker in international conferences on Asset Reliability & Maintenance Management. He is the
founder of ARMM Forum.
