*In all aspects my beliefs are in complete agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
The following are details as to my beliefs which are found, taught, and supported in scripture.

1. View of scripture:
A. Authoritative: All the words in Scripture are God's Words
Inspiration:
Explanation:
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God breathed
2 Peter 1:21 Men moved by the Spirit
John 16:13-14 Holy Spirit declared to the writers
Proof:
Matt 4:4 Jesus quoted Deut as God's words, not Moses'
Acts 1:16 Psalm 69 and 109 are said to be words which "the Holy Spirit spoke
beforehand by the mouth of David."
1 Corinthians 14:37 Paul said his writings are commands from the Lord
Inerrant:

Scripture:
John 17:17
Psalm 12:6
Proverbs 30:5
Historical accounts, miraculous accounts, moral commands, teachings, faith, practice,
and all words are true and without error in any form.
Manuscripts:
Complete inerrancy in the original manuscripts
We have over 5,000 copied manuscripts, from these we can be sure that we have
99% of the exact wording of the originals. Of the other 1% nothing changes the
meaning of the text. Therefore we can be certain we have the original inerrant text
reading.
If we deny inerrancy, we essentially make our own human minds a higher standard
of truth than God's Word itself.
B. Sufficient:
Scripture contains everything we need to know for salvation, for trusting God, and for
obeying God
2 Tim 3:15-17
Do not add or take away
Deut 4:2
Deut 12:32
Proverbs 30:5-6
Rev 22:18-19

from the Father, full of grace and truth.

1 Timothy 3:16, King James Version And without controversy great is the
mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen
of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into
glory.
