Introduction
All Praise is due to Allah who created man in the best of moulds. Durood
and Salaams upon Nabi Kareem who is the Guide to mankind and the
coolness of the hearts of the believers, and our Wasila and Intercessor.
Peace and blessings upon the Sahaba who are our means to success, and
upon the Ahle Baith who are like the Ark of Nooh (alaihis salaam), and
upon the Awliyah who are our helpers, as appointed by Allah, and upon
the Ulama e Haq who are our Lamps of Hope.
We have been informed of the slanderous and blasphemous statement by
(mufti) A.K. Hoosen on Radio Al Ansaar, in which it is mentioned that he
said it was kufr to say Ya Ali and Ya Abd al Qaadir. In doing so this
corrupt deviant blasphemer has labelled all the true believers as kaafir.
The wahabis/deobandis have once again shown what they think about
the Sunnis. They have shown what their views are about those who say
Ya Rasool'Allah and those who say Ya Ali Mushkil Kusha, Ya Ghaus, Ya
Khaja, Ya Makhdoom, Ya Aala Hazrat, Ya Soofie Bawa, Ya Badsha Bawa
etc. They regard Sahi ul Aqeeda Sunnis as Kaafir because we love the
Awliyah and call out to them in times of need believing that Allah has
appointed them for our assistance.
It is time that the Aashiqaan e Awliyah stood up for Haq and realised that
these are our open enemies. We should follow the words of the Hadith,
by keeping them away from us and keeping ourselves away from them.
2

We should realise that to forge any Deeni unity with deobandis, wahabis
and budmazhabs is detrimental. In reality, they regard us as Kaafirs and
yet today we want to unite with them on Deeni issues. There should be
no unity with these deviants as they are the enemy of the Beloveds of
Allah. It is in a times like this that our Fellow Sunnis should realise why it
is so harmful to keep association with budmazhabs and it is time to realise
that those who are not truly for our Nabi

or Maula Ali, or Ghaus, Or

Khaja, or Raza, and all the Awliyah, can never be ours!!!

I had mentioned that we are In sha Allah, in the process of preparing a
document against the statement of this Enemy of Awliyah, hence before
you is this document. I have no doubt that all our Ulama e Ahle Sunnah
will respond in a manner most suitable to them.
Say NO To Bud-mazhabiyat

When we hear about such statements being made by the Wahabi /
Deobandi lobby, we should all first understand that this is the corrupt
belief and view of the Wahabis and Deobandis. They regard those who
call out to the Ambia and the Awliyah for assistance to be Kaafirs and
Mushriks. They say that we cannot ask from anyone else other than
Allah. This is evident from their books:
It is on page 8 of Taqwiyatul Imaan; its author says that even the idol
worshippers in the time of the Prophet

did not equate their idols to

Allah. What they really did was that they called out to them in their
times of need and they made offerings to them expecting to attain some
favour. He then says that it is for this reason that anyone who considers
any servant of Allah as an intercessor or a mediator between Allah and
the servants is equal in shirk to Abu Jahl. What he is really saying is that
if anyone accepts and believes that the beloved Prophet

is our

mediator and intercessor in the Court of Allah then (Allah Forbid), such a
person is a polytheist similar to Abu Jahl.
Dear Readers! This, statement, not only condemns the intercession of the
Prophet , but it also condemns all the companions, the Great Imams,
the Awliyah Allah and all the Muslims as Mushriks like Abu Jahl. (Allah
Forbid). This is what they believe.

They believe that by us calling out to Rasoolullah and to the Sahaba or

Ahle Baith or the Awliyah we are worse than Abu Jahl, and yet we look for
ways to forge unity with them in religious matters!
Do these ignorant and deviant ones not know that the believers ask
assistance and call out to the Ambia and the Awliyah accepting them and
believing in them as Allahs servants and as those who assist us by the
Grace and Command of Allah? No Muslim believes that the Awliyah can
assist without Allahs Hukm. This is an open attack on the believers.
A.K. Hoosen has labelled all the believers as kaafirs (disbelievers) by
claiming that to use the words Ya Ali, or Ya Abd Al Qaadir to call out to
them in times of need and to ask their assistance as Kufr (disbelief). He
has shown his true position and his reality, which is the foundation of
Wahabism and Deobandiyat, and that is to try to distance the believers
from the Beloveds of Allah. One who falsely brands Muslims a Kaafir is
himself a kaafir.
It is for this reason that our great masters have taught us to stay away
from these Wahabis and Deobandis, as they are detrimental to our Imaan.
We have been taught not to forge any Deeni Unity with such corrupt,
deviant and blasphemous sects. Today, we are seeing clearly what they
believe and what they think of the Sunnis, yet sadly, we make them our
partners in Deeni issues today. Allah protect us from this detrimental and
destructive form of so-called Unity. Aameen.

These Deobandis and Wahabis claim that Nabi and the Awliyah etc. are
deceased and cannot assist us in any way. They believe that calling out to
them is of no benefit to the believers. Why? Because (Allah Forbid) they
believe that they are Dead and gone!
They believe the deceased cannot hear anything! They believe that they
cannot assist us from the hereafter! They believe that they are not our
Wasila!
Verily even the ordinary deceased hear the Salaam and words of the
living, and there is proof of this both logically and from authentic
sources, so what can be said regarding our Nabi and the Sahabah and
the Awliyah, whom we believe are alive by Allahs Hukm even after
passing from this world.
Only those who are deprived of intellect and knowledge, object, refute or
doubt this clear fact. There is consensus of the entire Ahle Sunnat on the
issue of the deceased hearing.
Logically, all the senses, such as hearing, seeing and knowing are proven
for the Rooh (The soul). The body is only a shell for the soul. When the
soul leaves the body, then due to it being freed, its power of sense
increases.
It is in Sharah Mawaqif, on the authority of Imam Fakhruddeen Raazi ,
who has presented the statement of the majority of the Muhaqiqeen by
saying, While the soul is in the human body, it is not as powerful, but
6

when it is separated from the body at death, it travels to the heights of

the spiritual domain when it gains strength and perfection.
It is evident from Tabrani on the authority of Hazrat Abu Umaama : In
Talqeen, the deceased hear and understand that which is being said (to
them), and they then reply by making Dua for the person making Talqeen.
The same applies to conveying salaam to the deceased.
This has been proven from numerous Hadith and open permission has
been granted in this matter by the Fuqaha.
It is in Shaami on the explanation of the above mentioned statement as
follows:
It is in Fathul Qadeer that to visit the graves and to stand beside the grave
and make Dua is Sunnat, just as the Prophet used to do when he went
to the Graveyard of Baqi and made salaam (to the deceased). It is in
Sharah Lubaab of Mulla Ali Qaari that the manner of visiting the grave
is for the person visiting the grave to come from the foot side of the grave
and not from the head side, since by coming from the head side, the
deceased feels discomfort as he has to turn to see. It is also from the
manners of visiting the grave to say As Salaamu Alaikum and not Alaikum
Salaam, since it has been narrated, that (when visiting the grave) we
should say, Salaam upon you O nation of believers. If Allah wills then
we are soon to meet with you, and we ask Allah to grant comfort to you
and us. We should then stand for a lengthy period and make Dua, and if
7

one has to sit, then do so according to the status of the deceased (i.e. sit
close or a little distance away), just as one did when he was alive.
Now the above is being mentioned about the ordinary people who pass
from this world. This also proves that when we go to the graveyards we
address the deceased by say, O Dwellers of The Grave. Now, by saying
Ya Ahl Al Quboor are we committing Kufr because we have called out to
the deceased? Why are we being asked to address them, if they are not
able to know what we are saying? Again remember, this is for the
ordinary believers as well! What then can be said about Sayyiduna
Rasoolullah

and the Awliyah who are the rays of light of Sayyiduna

Rasoolullah and who are surely alive even after tasting death.
There is no objection to asking the believers for assistance. This is proven
from the Holy Quran. If it was shirk and kufr to ask anyone other than
Allah for help, then why does Almighty Allah say,
And the believing men and believing women are helpers to one another.
[Surah Tauba Verse.71]
The Holy Quran further announces,
Then undoubtedly, Allah is his helper and Jibraeel and (all) the pious
believers. [Surah Tahreem Verse.4]

Now, if seeking or taking help from the creation were shirk, then Almighty
Allah would have never allowed Jibraeel (alaihis salaam) to be the assistant
of Hazrat Esa (alaihis salaam).
Hazrat Has'saan bin Thaabit is a Sahabi of the Holy Prophet and the
Poet of the Exalted Court of the Holy Prophet

reciting a Naat in the Court of the Holy Prophet

When he completed
the Holy Prophet

made a special Dua for him and this Dua will show that A.K. Hoosens words
have no basis and that the way of the Aashiqaan e Awliyah is the true path
of Islam.
O Allah, Assist him (Hazrat Has'saan bin Thaabit) through Rooh Quds
(Jibraeel Ameen). [Bukhari Shareef]
With regards to asking assistance from the Awliyah Allah, Hazrat Shah
Abdul Aziz Muhaddith Dehlwi

writes, This action is permissible and

allowed in Shariat. To ask for help in this way is not really asking from
someone but Allah, but in reality it is to ask from Allah. [Tafseer Azeezi
Pg.8]
Note:
Hazrat Muhaddith Dehlwi is explaining that as long as a person bears this
fact in mind that the true and real helper is Allah and no matter which
beloved he asks from, it will be through the mercy of Allah, it is permissible
to ask from such a person.

Hazrat Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhaddith Dehlwi states,

There are certain Awliyah Allah whom Allah has created specifically for
guiding and enlightening His servants. They have been given control of this
universe even in this condition (of theirs). In addition, by their insightful
absorption, by being spiritually engrossed due to their special excellence
does not impede them. The people of the Uwaisi Tareeqa gain their spiritual
inner brilliance through such personalities. Those in need and those with
issues go to them to have their needs and issues resolved and they achieve
whatever they desire (from them). Moreover, (these blessed) persons chant
the following words in their spiritual condition; If you come towards me
with body then I shall come towards you with a soul. [Tafseer-e-Azeezi]
It is also further been narrated by Hazrat Abdullah bin Masud
Holy Prophet Muhammad

that the

has stated, When the animal etc. of any

person flees into the woods, then he should say thrice, O servants of Allah
help me! O servants of Allah help me! O servants of Allah help me! [Hisn
Haseen Pg.163]
Hazrat Allama ibn Juzri

says that it has been reported from a certain

person that once one of his animals went astray. He knew the words of the
said Hadith. Through the blessing of this, Almighty Allah caused the animal
to return to him.

10

Quoting another narration from Tabrani Hazrat Allama ibn Juzri states,
If one is ever in any need then he should say O servants of Allah! Assist
me. O servants of Allah! Assist me. O servants of Allah! Assist me. After
narrating this Hadith Allama ibn Juzri quotes the Narrator where he says,
I have found it to be very effective.
In the commentary of Hisn Haseen Allama Mulla Ali Qaari

states the

following concerning the above mentioned Hadith,

Certain reliable Ulama have stated that this Hadith Shareef is Hassan (in
merit). It is very much needed by travellers and it is narrated by great
spiritual leaders that this (Hadith) is authentic. (In other words through it
ones problems are solved).
Hazrat Imam Nawawi

who is the annotator of Muslim Shareef quotes an

incident,
One of our Shaykhs narrated an incident to me, (He said) my mule ran away
and I had known the Hadith and I immediately said, O servants of Allah!
Assist me, so Almighty Allah immediately stopped the mule (from running
away). [Kitaabul Azkaar]
Muhaddith Imam Nawawi states that,
Once I was personally going somewhere with a group of people and our
animal ran away. Our catching the animal was in vain, and then I said the
11

words, O servants of Allah! Help me, and the animal stopped immediately,
allowing us to catch it and with the exception of this I did not do or say
anything else.
Hazrat Allama Jalaludeen Suyuti

has quoted a Hadith with reference to

Tabrani Shareef on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah ibn Umar

that the

Holy Prophet said,

There are certain of Allahs servants that have been appointed to fulfil the
necessities of the people. People will call to them in their times of need.
They are protected from the punishment of Almighty Allah.

[Jaame

Sagheer]
Allama Abdul Wahab Sharaani in his distinguished book Tabaqaatul Kubra
narrated many incidents in which the Awliyah have helped from great
distances. A few of these incidents are being quoted so that we realise that
that calling to the Awliyah in reality is not kufr, but it saves us from Kufr.
Allama Abdul Wahab Sharaani
Muhammad Hanafi

states that Hazrat Shamsuddeen

was performing ablution in his room, when he

suddenly threw his wooden sandal into the air. It disappeared although
there was no way for it to exit the room. He gave the other sandal to his
disciple and asked him to keep it until the first one returned. After some
time a certain person from Syria arrived with the sandal and some money as
gifts and said, May Almighty Allah give reward you for this.

12

The man mentioned that the actual incident occurred as follows,

Once when a thief sat on my chest and was about to slaughter me, in my
heart I said, O Sayyidi Muhammad! O Hanafi! then suddenly this sandal
appeared and struck the thief on his chest with such force that he became
dazed and collapsed and Almighty Allah saved me through your blessing.
[Tabaqaatul Kubra]
Hazrat Allama Abdul Wahab Sharaani

when explaining the status and

significance of Hazrat Moosa Abu Imran states, When any of his Mureeds
would call out to him from anywhere, he would answer them even if he was
a years distance away or even more than that. [Tabaqaatul Kubra]
Hazrat Allama ibn Hajar Makki states,
It is from amongst the blessings of the Awliyah Allah that through their
blessings it rains upon the people (and) fighting is alleviated, if not the earth
would be full of destruction. [Fatawa Hadeethia]
Hazrat Allama ibn Aabideen Shaami on the footnote of his internationally
renowned book Raddul Muhtar says that Ziyaadi has reported that if any
person loses any one of his belongings then he wishes for Almighty Allah to
return it to him, he should stand on a high place facing the Qibla and make
Faateha and send the sawaab (reward) to the Holy Prophet and to Sayyid
Ahmad bin Alwaan and say,

13

O my leader Ahmad! O son of Alwaan! If you do not return my lost item, I

will remove your name from the register of the Awliyah. (i.e. I will not
count you amongst them)
He states, With the Barakah of this amal and that Wali Allah, Almighty
Allah will have the lost item returned (to you). [Raddul Muhtar]
Hazrat Shah Abdul Aziz Muhaddith Delhwi presents a narration from
Hazrat Shaykh Ahmad Zaruq

who is the teacher of Allama Ahmad

Qastalani the commentator of Bukhari Shareef and the teacher of Allama

Shamsuddeen Liqaani

He is well recognised in the academic and

spiritual world. Read this and look at the truthfulness and sincerity of those
who believe in calling out to the Awliyah. He says,
I am the one who comforts my disciple in his difficult times, when the
world breaks unto him. If you are in any discomfort, shortage or grief, then
call out to me with the words , Ya Zaruq and I will present myself.
[Bustaan-ul-Muhadditheen]
Those who reject the above mentioned and try to corrupt the minds and
hearts of the simple unsuspecting Muslims are not true believers, but they
are trying to dupe the unsuspecting Muslims. Those who obtain assistance
from the Awliyah Allah and believe (The Awliyah) have power over certain
things with the permission of Allah are the true Believers.

14

Now, Let A.K. Hoosen put his false and corrupt verdict of kufr on Imam
Sharaani, Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhaddith Delhvi, Shah Abdul Aziz, Allama
Ibn Hajar and all the other great and blessed masters! It proves who the
true believer is and who the real kaafir (disbeliever) is.
Below is a query which was presented to Aala Hazrat

followed by the

answer presented by Huzoor Sayyidi Aala Hazrat .

The Query
The Following question was posed to Aala Hazrat Ash Shah Imam Ahmed
Raza Khan Qaadiri Barakaati

on the 3rd Rabi ul Aakhir Shareef 1320

Hijri.
What do the learned Ulama and knowledgeable Muftis say as to whether
it is permissible to say, Ya RasoolAllah

and Ya Wali Allah? Is it

permissible or not to seek assistance from the Prophets and saints and to
say, Ya Ali Mushkil Kusha in times of need? Please answer this query
with your signature and seal, so that I may be confident and clear in
explaining this to the people. Also please translate in Urdu the verses of
the Quran and Hadith etc. where ever they appear in your answer.
The Answer
It is permissible as long as you accept them as the servants of Allah and as
a Wasila (mediation) in the Court of Allah, and to completely accept that
they have been blessed with this excellence through the permission and
15

Will of Allah. One must have complete faith in the fact that without
Allahs will, even one atom cannot move, and without doubt, this is the
belief of every Muslim. To think contrary to this concerning the Muslims
is to falsely accuse them, which by itself is Haraam.
Without Allah giving, none can give even a single grain, and one cannot
even hear a single alphabet, or even blink once. Now, undoubtedly, to call
to them truly and sincerely believing this (that they help by Allahs
Grace), is totally permissible. It is evident from the Hadith of Jaame
Tirmizi etc. that the Beloved Rasool himself taught the following Dua
to a blind man. He said that after Namaaz he should read:
Ya Rasoolullah , I turn my attention towards my Creator through the
Wasila of Nabi in seeking what I wish for, so that this need of mine is
fulfilled.
In some narrations, it has been narrated as follows, So that the Prophet

may fulfil this need of mine. The blind person read this Dua and was

immediately able to see.

It is in the Hadith of Tabrani etc. that in the time of Hazrat Uthman-eGhani a companion by the name of Hazrat Uthman bin Haneef gave
this Dua to a Sahabi or Taabiee to recite. After Namaaz, he said, Ya
RasoolAllah

I turn my attention towards Almighty Allah whilst

making the Prophet

my Wasila. Even his need was fulfilled. Thus,

the Ulama-e-Kiraam said this to be effective in having ones needs

fulfilled.
16

It is also as follows in the Hadith, When you wish to call out and ask for
help, then you should say, O servants of Allah! Assist me.
It is in Fatawa Khairiyah as follows, Ya Sheikh Abd Al Qaadir Jilani Shay
an Lillah is a call (plea). What reason is there for it to be prohibited?
This humble servant (Aala Hazrat) has written a booklet on this topic by
the name of Anwaarul Intiba Fi Haali Nida Ya RasoolAllah. Peruse this
booklet and you will find it very clear that in every era and every time,
the Ulama and the pious have always called for help from the beloveds of
Allah in times of difficulty. According to the (corrupt theory) of the
Wahabis, from the era of the Sahaba (until now), all the pious servants of
Allah would be branded as Mushriks (Allah Forbid). Wa laa Hawla wa Laa
Quwwata illa billaahil Aliyil Azeem.

The above ends the answer given by Aala Hazrat . In his above mentioned
book, Aala Hazrat quotes the following,
1. Sayyidi Jamaal bin Abdullah bin Umar Makki

in his Fatawa states

that he was questioned about the people who in times of difficulty call out
by saying, Ya RasoolAllah, Ya Ali, Ya Sheikh Abd Al Qaadir and whether to
do this is permissible in Islam. The blessed Imam replied, Yes, to call out
in this manner is permissible; to call to them is permissible even by using
their names as a means (). This is permissible in the light of the Shariah.
Such an act is appropriate and accepted. Only those who are obstinate
and arrogant would oppose or question this reality, and these people are
surely unfortunate and deprived of the blessings of the Awliyah Allah.
17

2. Shah Abdul Aziz , quotes two phrases of Hazrat Ahmed Zaruq ,

which explains his greatness, certainly I bless my disciples with
composure during times of difficulty and bewilderment, when brutality
and evil harasses them, and in times of despair and distress. Hence, in
such times call out to me (by saying) 'Ya Zaruq', I will immediately come
to your assistance."
The believers and the true Aashiqaan e Ahle Bait and Aashiqaan e Awliyah
need to realise that for a long time now these Wahabis/Deobandis have
been infiltrating the Ahlus Sunnah and slowly trying to pull the true
believers towards them. They have been trying to play the Muslims and
make it look like they have the same beliefs as us, but there are times like
this when they spew their venom and their pretentious and fake garbs are
destroyed. If we do not see their reality now, when will see this? It is for
this reason that Aala Hazrat Imam Ahmed Raza Khan and all the great
Akabireen of the Ahle Sunnat until today have told us and warned us not
to keep association with them, and not to listen to their words. It is for
this reason that we have been commanded in the Quran to stay away
from these unjust ones, who will harm our Imaan. The Quran announces,
And do not be inclined towards the unjust, for the fire of hell
will affect you. [Surah 11 Verse 113]
It has been mentioned in the Hadith that we should stay away from these
deviants, as the Hadith clearly mentions that their company is destructive
to us.
18

It is mentioned in the Hadith Shareef,

Stay away from them and keep them away from you, so that they may
not cause you to be misguided or plunged into corruption.
It is for this reason that our Akabireen have warned us of two things in
this era,
1. Stay away from Budmazhabs (corrupt and deviants ones)
2. Stay away from those who have unity with them, and those who
treat them (the deviants) with gentleness.
In Al Malfuz Shareef, Aala Hazrat

was asked about association with

budmazhabs. I present to you what Aala Hazrat really taught us. The
following is from the English Translation of Al Malfuz Sharif,
Question:

Some people knowingly sit and associate with the

misled. What is the ruling concerning them?

Answer: It is Haraam and dangerous. There is a great chance of also
becoming misled. To keep friendship with the misled is even more
dangerous and destructive. Sayyiduna Rasulullah may Allah send peace
and blessings upon him states:

19

Keep them (misled) far from you, keep yourself far from them, so
that they may not mislead you and put you in disarray (Fitnah). [Quote
from Al Malfuz ends here]
What does this mean? In other words, our Akabireen have commanded us
to stay away from Budmazhabs of any type, so as to protect our Imaan
from being harmed. In addition, they have warned us against SullahKulliyat, i.e. the company of those who know well their deviance, but still
wish to unite with them on religious issues.
Why have they warned us against this? Because they know that what has
been mentioned in the Hadith is a reality, that the companionship of such
people will plunge us into disarray, yet today when we speak against
Sullah-Kulliyat we are labelled as extremist!
Let it be known, that we speak against this so that our beloved Sunni
brethren may be safe from the likes of A.K. Hoosen and all these
Wahabi/Deobandis and all their organisations.
We fight against this so that our beloveds do not regard these
budmazhabs as a means of resolve in any religious Issues. When they
make statements like (Mufti) A.K. Hoosen, we should all refute them and
continue refuting them to keep our people safe.
However, there is no use if we refute them today and then go to them
tomorrow for unity in religious issues, by using technicalities to suit our
actions.
20

It is time that we learnt that these people and their agents have always
tried to use the Sunnis for their own gain! For how much longer will we
fall into this trap?
I repeat what I have said in the very beginning, that, It is in a times like
this that our Fellow Sunnis should realise why it is so harmful to keep
association with budmazhabs and it is time to realise that those who are
not truly for our Nabi , or Maula Ali, or Ghaus, Or Khaja, or Raza, and all
the Awliyah, can never be ours!!!
These people deserve no respect, no honour and no support! Sunnis
should be with only Sunnis and we must stay away from all these
Deobandi/Wahabi movements and organisations, and we must refute
those who forge false Unity with them on religious Issues.
We do not need the budmazhabs and we will never need them. We need
only those who truly love Allah and His Rasool

who love The Ahle

Baith, The Sahaba and the Awliyah, for the Awliyah are our helpers by the
Grace and Mercy of Allah.
It must be noted that this rebuttal of A.K. Hoosens statement is not
intended for his benefit in any way, for if this belief of his remains with
him, then him and those who are like him are destined for hell-fire. This
has been written as a warning to our own, and as a reminder to the
importance of loving the Awliyah and keeping away from the enemy of
the Awliyah.
21

We shall never turn our faces away from Our Khaja,

The blessed Nisbat To Ghaus We shall never leave
Let those who burn in enmity, burn forever,
but we shall hold fast always, to the way of Raza
