GULAYAN SA PAARALAN

Gulayan sa paaralan is a self-help program. It is very essential in our school

because of its spacious land area that is fitted for agricultural production. Every inch
of the idle land were cultivated and become productive. Pupils from Grade IV-VI in
EPP class were taught on the proper ways of organic gardening. Each pupil was
given an area to cultivate, a hands on activity from land preparation to harvesting
period. Pupils gather vegetables for their consumption a very good experience for
them. They gain insights that gardening provides food, accessible fresh and
nutritious food. In the long run it is a good source of income.

Gulayan sa paaralan is a perfect venue for the pupils to love the dignity of
labor.

The harvest of the Bio intensive gardening of the Gulayan sa paaralan project is
intended to regularly supply the food requirements of the pupils who undergo the
Feeding Program. To improve the health condition of the severely wasted and
wasted pupils from Grade I-VI.
