To whom it may concern;
I am writing this letter to recommend Leyla Smith SPN (LPN) to work for your facility.
She did her clinical at our facility for 3 weeks with myself on an Assisted
Living/Private Enhanced Care with over 40 residents with a wide variety of health
and physical issues. It was a pleasure working with Leyla during this period of time.
Leyla showed a lot of initiative and eagerness to learn and was a quick learner. She
was always willing to help and worked well with all staff with proper channels of
communication. She conducted herself in a professional manner always. Leyla has a
gentle demeanor and gentle approach, with great bedside manner with the residents.
She promoted a positive work environment by respecting others opinions, judgments
and abilities. She collaborated and communicated effectively with team members
using proper channels of communication. She also demonstrated flexibility and
reliability, showed up to work early to prepare her day. Leyla showed great work
ethic by always offering to help and was a great team player. She has good time
management skills, organized and prioritized her day in an effective, efficient
manner. She was competent administering treatments and procedures using
principles of sepsis, infection control and safety in delivery of care. Leyla recognized
potential critical situations and reported deviation of resident status promptly. I wish
Leyla all the best in her future endeavors. I am confident that she will be great LPN.
I hope that you consider her for a position in your facility as she will be an added
asset to your facility. Please feel free to contact me for any further info at 403-6868777 ext 8815 or home #: 403-264-0569.
Thank you for your time,
Cecile Griggs, LPN
