performance of Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITF) in the Philippines.
Which UITFs booked the highest returns from January until the end of July this year?

What are Unit Investment Trust Funds?
Unit Investment Trust Funds or UITF are investment options for those interested to
place their money in a variety of income-generating assets, such as stocks, bonds,
money market instruments and other similar products, but may not have the time or
expertise to do the investing themselves.
Financial institutions, such as banks, typically offer UITFs in the Philippines. What they
do is pool funds from investors and manage these funds collectively, with the income
being distributed to all investors of the fund.
Shown below are the returns of each UITF in the country from January until the end of
July this year. We also compare the 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year returns in order to give
investors better guidance in evaluating the consistency of performance of each fund.
