Abstract The case about the theft in Indonesia is high. One of it is the theft of helmet. Actually, the producer of the helmet has
made standard for their product, bu for the security still not enough. There is no notification for us whether our helmet is
sotolen. The technology of notifications such as alarm is one of the best solution for this problem. We will get the notice that our
helmet is stolen from the sound of the alarm. Integrating system alarm to the motorcycle and putting the magnetic to the helmet
as the key to turn it on, we made the product that called Magnetic Alarm Helm (I-Calm). It utilize reedswitch normally close as
the switcher and the magnet as the key.

I. INTRODUCTION
In Indonesia, criminal case is very high.
According to BPS (Central Agency of Statictics)
survey 2011, criminal case in Indonesia occured as
347,605 cases. Then in 2012, it decreased about
1.85 percent, but in 2013 increased 0,27 percent.
According to that survey, theft case is in the first
rank among other criminal cases. The main factor
about this case is the economy needs. When we
look further about theft case, we can see that the
theft of the helmet is one of the most annoying
moment. Although the producer of the helmet has
made the standard for every helmet that known as
SNI (Indonesian National Standards), the security
for helmet itself is not quite enough.
In this case about the theft of helmet, we need
another way to secure our helmet from the thief, but
when the thief steal our helmet, we will get the
notification that our helmet is stolen. In another
way, we will immediately go to see our helmet.
With this notification, we will also know the subject
who did it and follow-up the case. Now, we have
known some of the technology of notifications such
as alarm in the car. It has been developed and the
result, it can push down the thfet case of car. So
here we want to apply and develop the alarm
system for the helmet. Our alarm system will
integrate to the body of motorcycle and when the
thief stela our helmet, the alarm will notice you that
your helmet is stolen so you can immediately go for
it. We call our product as Magnetic Alarm Helm (ICalm).

III.METHOD

You can use solder to join each component. But
magnets-silver-30-x-10-x-2-mm-10for trial, we can use project board as the PCB.

underneath the iron as shown in the picture.

V. RESULT AND DISCUSSION
When the switcher on motorcycle is on, the alarm
system will off. But when the switcher on motorcyce is
off, the alarm system will on. We can turn alarm system
off if we put the magnet to the iron so the reedswitch is
open and the alarm system is off. As we know that
reedswitch is the switcher in the circuit. But the key to
switch is the magnet. Thats why we use reedswitch as
the switcher, so we dont need another key to turn it off.
We know that the magnet has field among it. When we
put it to the iron, we can change the iron become the
magnet that give the influence to the reedswitch. We use
reedswitch normally closed because it will close (the
system is on) if we take the helmet. So, in our system

If we want to take our helmet, at first we have to
switch motorcycle on so the alarm system will off. If we
want to switch of our motorcycle, we have to put the
helmet so the alarm system wont on. But, when the
thief steal our helmet, the alarm system will on and it
will notice us that someone ook our helm.How about
theres no helmet on it? We can put the magnet to the
iron, so the alarm system is always off.

VI. CONCLUSION
From the explanation above, we can conclude
that Magnetic Alarm Helm (I-Calm) will notice you
when your helmet is taken by someone. It works when
the magnet from the helmet is taken off from the system
alarm. If we want to turn it of, just put another magnet
or turn the switcher on the motorcycle on. This project is
not made yet, still on going project.
In the future, we want to try to make a specified
magnet so every alarm system have their own field
magnet that will turning off the switcher in the
reedswitch.
