Information Display Shows Higher MPG Than Actual

SYMPTOM SOFTWARE INFORMATION

The information display shows the fuel mileage to be HDS Software Version:
10 to 15 percent higher than the customer’s actual 2.020.015 or later
calculated mileage.
Control Module (CM) Update:
NOTE: Verify that the customer has correctly Application Version V6.19.03 or later
calculated the mileage by dividing the miles driven by Database Update 22-OCT-2009 or later
the number of gallons used.
NOTE: To avoid an incorrect repair that would not be
covered under warranty, use the software version

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Update the PGM-FI software with the HDS. Year/Model Program ID Program P/N
NOTE: The update does not address complaints of 2009 Fit M/T P33050 37805-RP3-3050
poor fuel economy, and the customer should not (or later)
expect an improvement in fuel mileage. This update 2009 Fit M/T w/navi P33060 37805-RP3-3060
only allows the information display to match the (or later)
customer’s calculations more accurately. 2009 Fit A/T P33070 37805-RP3-3070
and A/T Sport (or later)
2009 Fit A/T Sport P34050 37805-RP3-4050
