Intercede with Us for the Muslim World!

Many nations will come and say, Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord.... He will teach us his ways, so that we
may walk in his paths (Micah 4:2).
Around the world, children and youth attend madrasas, schools where they receive training in the Koran and tenets of
Islam. Islamic universities produce scholars that shape and propagate the faith. Let's pray this week that as they study, both
children and adults would honestly question and pursue truthand that the Lord would reveal himself to them.

Today's Prayer Requests: From Students, Alumni, and Missionaries

NIGER: Assemblies of God churches damaged in attacks in January continue to rebuildboth their buldings and
their congregations. A church leader reports that new members have come into the churches. Most are bold, but some
are fearful because of recent events. He asks us to pray
- that the Flock will find confidence in the Lord.
- for many new converts.
- for the rebuilding of the churches. This leader also lost his home, which was attached to the church, and is
now renting 5 km away. Please pray that every need will be met for each church facility and parsonage.
- for God's protection. Boko Haram can attack even in the interior.
SENSITIVE COUNTRY: A man who has been the barber of a Christian for several years is asking questions. Please
pray for his salvation and for wisdom for this believer as he points him to the Answer.

In the News
Pray for the families of those slain in last Thursday's attack on Garissa University in northeastern Kenya. Most of the
148 victims were Christians. The Somalian Al-Shabaab Islamist militants who carried out the attack began by opening
fire in a prayer meeting, and as they went through the campus, they identified the Christian students and spared the
Muslims. Pray that the Lord and His people would encourage those affected. Pray also that in His mercy He would
touch the hearts of the perpetrators.

From Global Initiative*

Please pray for a Global Initiative-sponsored World Consultation on Islam in a Latin American country during the
dates of April 13-17, that every session will be guided by the Holy Spirit.

For Muslim Women**

Pray that the approximately 5 million women of Bangladeshs state of Khulna will have opportunity to hear the gospel
and respond to its message. Nearly 90% of Bangladeshs people follow Islam. More than one-third of the girls are
married by age 15, and fewer than half complete secondary school. Pray for the Assemblies of God churches and the
believers in Khulna as they reach out to women and girls.
