Team Size: 20.

Duration: Dec 2008 - Jan 2013.
Description: NACO (National AIDS Control Organization) is an organization under Ministry of Health and
Family Welfare to support and monitor the anti AIDS campaign in India supported by various organizations
worldwide like UNICEF, WHO, Clinton Foundation, Gates Foundation etc. For executing this process NACO
has established various types of centers like ICTC, VCTC, ART, STD, Blood Bank etc. to educate test and
treat the HIV/AIDS patients.

The project was to provide an end to end solution for capturing the data from different reporting units, migrating
legacy data, integrate and triangulate data with parallel running systems and to generate a warehouse for
analysis of the captured information leading to effective implementations of program.
My role was to lead the Integration with Surveillance module (AHSS, BSS), PLHA-ART, ICTC and triangulation
of data with Finance module CPFMS.
My Role:
As Team Lead, I was responsible for
Project sizing and cost estimation to support the business case.
Design and development of integration project plan. Co Author of SRS and SDD.
Design, development and scheduling of jobs (Using Platform LSF and Windows scheduler) for incremental
and full loading of staging and data mart by applying transformations: Append, data transfer, data validation,
Extract, lookup, SqlJoin, splitter, SCD type 2.
Involved in the design and development of facts, dimensions and cubes (Star Schema/drill through)
Generating reports from Cubes, Drill through tables and SAS Visual Data Discovery outputs.
Implementing backup plan for Data Warehouse.
Developed various Metrics, Attributes, Facts, Hierarchies, Prompts, and Filters etc.
Actively administering the support process from third party consultants.
Planning and Imparting SAS/Application training to 11000 users across India with team.
Holding the responsibility of Configuration Controller and actively represented the process areas of the project
in two consecutive CMMi V 1.2 and V 1.3 audits.

Description: The Project was divided into two categories i.e.
Web based Data Entry Application which was to be used throughout India to furnish data in the defined
formats to their superior authority. The Application comprises of modules for data entry into the Monthly,
Quarterly and Annual formats defined by Ministry of Health for capturing information related to Infrastructure,
Reproductive Health, JSY, Finance, Demographic, NRHM Specific and National Health Programs etc. This
Application helped the State and Central Governments to monitor and analyze the information.
BI platform for analyzing and reporting of the information captured through the data entry application and
data from External sources such as (Census, NFHS and Legacy Systems) . This includes creation of a central
data warehouse, preparing data marts, cubes, standard reports, calculation of KPI's, designing the dashboard,
and establishing enterprise portal.
My Role:
As a Senior BI Analyst I was involved in
Staging Database Design (It includes Designing of jobs to pull data from OLTP System and from other source
files to schedule different task to happen on particular time.)
Data mart design and development (developing fact table, Dimension table, Stored Procedure to fill fact,
dimension table for full and incremental processing.)

Design and development of Staging and Data Mart Database and related ETL jobs by applying
transformations: Append, data transfer, data validation, Extract, lookup, SqlJoin, splitter, SCD type 2. (It
includes Design and development of jobs to pull data from OLTP and from other source files.)
Writing pre and post processing codes, preparing Unit Test Plans
Cubes design and development and generating calculated measures.
Scheduling jobs using Platform LSF and windows scheduler.
Designing and developing KPIs in SAS Enterprise Guide.
Played key role in planning and imparting SAS training to around 400 users across India.
Actively participated in Installation and training of DW/BI and SAS VDD across India at State headquarters

Description: SPRINT is a premier Internet Service Provider company in USA. The company provides internet
services to end users and clients in collaboration with other ISP majors like AT&T, HORIZON etc. The
businesses at SPRINT have been structured into three individual strategic business units (SBU's) - Mobile
Services, Telemedia Services & Enterprise Services. My role was to design, develop, implement, test and
maintain ETL components. We had to extract data from source files, check the integrity of data and load data
to SPRINT's EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse)

Created Mappings through various Transformations like Lookup, Joiner, Aggregate, Expression, Filter,
