Animals kept in zoos

The Earth is about five thousands millions years old, through the earth life had
lived a lot of animal species. Many of them are extinct, and many of them had survived or
had evolved. That is the cycle and part of life. In our natural spite of expansion and
development, human beings had caused the disappearance of many animal species.
Now, we still are damaging natural animals life keeping them in zoos. It is immoral and
unethical to let: animals in cages and animals kept in zoos.
In many countries it is seen that zoos get animals to keep them there to make
money and to profit with them, and it is totally unethical. It can be argued that people
enjoy visiting zoos or looking at unusual animals, however, wild animals need to live in
their natural environment because every specie was born to live in some specific
environment, wild animals like lions, leopards need a warn weather and many hectares to
live in, and polar bears were born to live places whit cold weather, but we can see them
in many zoos though the world no matter if the weather is or is not appropriated for the
animals. People who keep those animals in zoos say that animals are kept in zoos in order
to preserve its specie in case of extinction, but zoos instead of worrying about animals
either health or preservation, they think about how they might take advantage of those
animals. People must not see animals more as things.
In addition, animals are part of this planet, and every thing in this planet has a
function, and freedom of animals lets the natural development of the natural lifes cycle.
When animals are trapped in order to keep them in zoos, the human being is changing
the lifes cycle maybe forcing the extinction of some animal species, or at least changing
the original wild behavior of animals. It does not matter if the zoo is the biggest o the
best, it can not give condition and space enough to the animals which need a real
environment to get a wild and natural behavior, in particular, a lion which lives many time
or a lion which was born in a zoo is given back to its forest, that lion can not hunter to eat
because it got used to receive food instead of look for it. Furthermore, many experiments
have shown that animals which used to live in zoos are not able to keep themselves alive
for more than one year.
In summary, the Earth is a planet in which there is a lot of diversity, pants, and
animals, however, human beings are damaging that diversity, making disappear some

animal species in their spite of expansion and ambition. And that spite is totally
unacceptable when they use animals as a way to make money in zoos, and also that spite
is causing the change of the natural course of animals life. We enjoy looking at unusual
animals at zoos, but it is time to think about the animals as life beings that need to live in
their environment to preserve their species.
