Integrating SAP ECC 6.0 information structures with SAP APO InfoCubes (transferring
aggregated historical data to SAP APO).

Defining the planning levels for creating aggregated plans.

Generating master data (characteristics combinations and proportional factors).

Configuring Demand Planning using planning areas, Planning Object Structures, planning
books and macros.

Generating alerts using macros.

Collaborative Demand Planning (customer forecast and manufacturing build plan)

Demand planning using statistical forecasting, causal analyses, and composite forecasting

Mass processing of planning activities in the background

Releasing the Demand Planning results as planned independent requirements to Supply

Network Planning and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling.

Configuring Demand Consumption within APO

Experience in troubleshooting process chain failures within SCM BW.

Experience in coordinating with SAP on critical/complex issues.

Should have strong understanding of cross functional business scenarios.

Excellent leadership and analytical skills complemented by sound communication skills.

Analyze, track and remediate root causes of defects

Perform business analyst work, document business requirements, develop functional and
technical designs

Write functional specifications for ABAP development and for interfaces to legacy
applications.

Perform unit and integration testing for your configuration and end to end business
processes

Work with business partners and Users throughout process to ensure solutions meet
business requirements

Participate in on-call support rotation.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience
A minimum of 8 years of related experience (3 plus full life cycle SAP implementations and 4 plus years of
SAP APO experience. Must have experience with SCM 5.0 / SCM 7.x versions. Must have proven
experience configuring APO modules using IMG. Bachelors degree in Business or Computer Science, or
equivalent work experience required.
Language Skills
SAP Query & LSMW skills required. ABAP and / or IDOC knowledge is a plus.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply
concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an
extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract
and concrete variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
SAP certification is a plus.
