TREATY OF FRIENDSHIP, COOPERATION AND RECOGNITION

BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE


KINGDOM OF RUTHENIA AND THE RAJAHNATE OF NAMAYAN
The Kingdom of Ruthenia and the Rajahnate of Namayan have decided to conclude this present
Treaty in accordance to the principles of mutual respect of state sovereignty, mutual respect for
internal affairs, mutual non-aggression and mutual assistance, development and support.
The governments of the Kingdom of Ruthenia and of the Rajahnate of Namayan have agreed to the
following provisions:
ARTICLE 1
The Kingdom of Ruthenia and the Rajahnate of Namayan shall exercise mutual assistance,
development and support between each other.
ARTICLE 2
The Kingdom of Ruthenia and the Rajahnate of Namayan shall neither resort to violence, hostilities,
threat of violence nor take measures which shall put pressure on the other state. Acts not
considered hostile include but not limited to peaceful protests, internet petitions, and peaceful
standoffs. All territorial disputes should be resolved with negotiations and peaceful means.
ARTICLE 3
The Kingdom of Ruthenia and the Rajahnate of Namayan shall solve any differences and issues that
may arise between the two states through peaceful means.
ARTICLE 4
The Kingdom of Ruthenia and the Rajahnate of Namayan shall be committed to the maintenance of
peace and security.
ARTICLE 5
The Kingdom of Ruthenia and the Rajahnate of Namayan shall not interfere with the internal affairs
of each other.
ARTICLE 6
The Kingdom of Ruthenia and the Rajahnate of Namayan shall respect each others choice for
political, economic, social and cultural development.
ARTICLE 7
The Kingdom of Ruthenia and the Rajahnate of Namayan shall establish diplomatic relations with
each other.
ARTICLE 8
The Kingdom of Ruthenia and the Rajahnate of Namayan shall recognize the government of the
other state and shall recognize its sovereignty.

ARTICLE 9
The Kingdom of Ruthenia and the Rajahnate of Namayan shall not enter into an alliance or take
action that would compromise the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of the other state.

ARTICLE 10
The Kingdom of Ruthenia and the Rajahnate of Namayan shall not allow another state or
organization to use its resources to compromise the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of
the other state.
ARTICLE 11
The Kingdom of Ruthenia and the Rajahnate of Namayan shall engage in regular meetings in order
to keep each other informed on the current situation of the other state, to exchange views on the
diplomatic relations between the two states and to discuss issues of interest to both states.
ARTICLE 12
The Kingdom of Ruthenia and the Rajahnate of Namayan shall engage in cooperation in state
building and other areas of common interest.
Done in Alto da Solido in the Kingdom of Ruthenia and in duplicate in Lequia in the the Rajahnate
of Namayan on 1 January 2015 in the English language.
