Movies and Books

First of all, Im going to start this section with movies. Ill check the most recent
billboard to know which movies Im going to search and get informed. Then, Ill try to
watch every movie so I can give my personal opinion. I will give a whole explanation
why people should watch it and why I think its a good or bad option. Ill give stars
from 1 to 5 of how much I liked it. I will do the same thing with books, except that I
will write some opinions of my friends and family about them. What do they think
about it or if they will read it. Im going to talk about the characters and the story if I
know the book and if I dont then Im going to read it first. Of course, I will post some
pictures and some information. Ill split everything by sections: age, classification and
genre.

Sports
To be honest, the only sport I really like is the baseball so if you also like it, let me
tell you a good new, this April 5 th starts the MLB and the first game begins with the
Chicago Cubs vs. St. Louis Cardinals at the Wrigley Field so you dont have to miss this
spectacular opening match!

Have you wondered what you can do to get his attention?

Here, we'll tell you some different tips that you could do to try to get his attention.
1. - First of all and the most important thing, LOVE yourself, guys don't like people
who don't love themselves, people who are insecurity, you need to love yourself and
be proud of who you are, you'll show security and happiness and guys love that.
2. - Have fun wherever you go, a guy will see how enthusiastic and happy you are,
that's a nice way to get his attention! Smile every time you can.
3. - This is what you should NO do it, look desperate for attention, if you don't have
someone to be with you it's because it's not the right time yet, but that doesn't mean
that you are going to be 'single' the rest of your life, and that's not a reason to act like
a white girl.
4. - Walk by him, don't make it in a way that it's obvious that you did it on purpose, be
secure and smile!
5. - Try to catch his eye, sometimes you need to try things in a another lever, make
eye contact for a short period of time, and if he smiles when you are doing the eye
think, it means that he wants to know you more.
6. - Once you get a little of his attention, make a good first impression! Be yourself,
be nice, try to make jokes without trying too hard, but be careful when you are trying
to be funny, don't look like you are a fake person, and when I say fake person I mean,
don't look like a girl who changes her mode when she is around boys.
7. - If you be positive, secure, happy, enthusiastic, etc., he will want to know more
about you!

media (facebook, snapchat, twitter, instagram).
Don't make the mistake that I committed; don't be obvious in the social media! If your
crush has twitter, follow him, or retweet different tweets from him, so he is going to
be like 'oh, she always give me some retweets' and he is going to follow you if he sees
that you are an interesting person.
That's the first step and the easiest one, now that you have him on twitter, you need
to have him on instagram, you need to wait, after two weeks since his follow, and you
can follow him on instagram too! And I assure you that he is going to follow you back,
so now that you have his follow, post some cute pictures.
And the hardest step, snapchat, this app it's kind of personal, so, you need to hang
out with his friends, I'm not saying that his friends are going to be your best friends
now, I'm saying that you need to be friendly, nice, etc., with them, and if they like
you, once that they got your trust, they'll ask to you your snapchat.

Concerts! A topic you love!
What kind of artists do you like? 5sos? Taylor Swift? One Direction? Ariana Grande?
1975? That doesn't matter! The only thing that matters is that you need to go to a
concert from them!
If you are a big fan, I know that you want to be in front row, and sometimes that is
hard to get, but I'll give you some tips to have nice seats and a great view:
I recommend you to buy the tickets on resale, its better! They are great and they
aren't that expensive! Buy them 1 or 2 months before the concert.

Sometimes, they sale nice seats, but you need to buy two tickets! If you have a friend
that likes the artist/band, you can ask to her/him! But, what if the concert is not in
your city/country and you really want to go?
You need to be nice with your parents, do everything they ask you to do, and they'll
see that you are a great son/daughter, that increases your chance of going! Save
money, those always helps, and if the concert its in a nice city, you can say to your
parents that they can take advantage of it, they can know the city while you are in
the concert! That is a nice 'excuse', be careful with this, It needs to be a normal city,
I mean, if you are going to cities like San Diego, New York, Los Angeles or cities like
that, tickets are going to be more expensive than if you go to cities like Dallas,
Houston, San Antonio, Kansas, etc.
If you convinced them, now you need to make things to catch the artist's attention!
You can dress differently; you can make some posters with nice 'quotes'! And if you

are going to a country don't forget to take your country's flag! Don't be shy about it!
Make silly things while you are in the concert, enjoy it, sing and scream out loud, it
will be the best night of your life!

First things first, we all know that every single person in this world is totally
different; we all wear different colors and styles of clothes! Anyways, these are the
golden rules of how to dress:

Your clothes have to complement your personal coloring which is based on your

dominant color (eye, hair and skin)

You have to dress according your body shape and size! You will look a lot better

if youre wearing your correct size.

You have to ALWAYS dress appropriate for the occasion.
You should dress according your personality. It is your personality which will put
your outfit on point.

But how we can feel more confident? So lets go back! We have to dress according
your body shape. If theres a specific part of your body you want to hide, you have to
wear basic clothes, say goodbye to any patterns, stripes, etc! You will notice the
different. But, if you want to highlight any part of your body, you have to put a little
more of fun on it, dress with strong colors and patterns; it will help you a lot.
Another thing we all know should know is what are some MUST-HAVES in every girls
closet.

doing it 10 times each one. Then stretching arms and shoulders forward and backward

moving your upper body from side to side. And finally stretch your legs by trying to
touch both of your feet without blending your right leg to the left leg and try to touch
the ground, do the same with the other leg.

Our opinions

Victoria: Why do I think this magazine will have success? Because we will
show many things for learning and our purpose is to make people (mostly
girls, of course) have fun and information.

Allison: I think that talk about this topic is very important because you
can know about these sports and more and also you can get interesting
and search about what do you like and maybe you can watch a game or
practice it.

Andrea: I choose this topic because I have experience with it, I don't
know how but my crush always give me some retweets or likes on
instagram/facebook/twitter, I'm not good in this crush thing but I love it,
and in the other topic (concerts) I think I'm good at it, I love it, and I
choose it because I've gone to different concerts without being planning it
at all, I went to a One Direction concert in San Antonio, and I bought
tickets 3 weeks ago, I went to life in color without the permission of my
parents, and I bought tickets to Jonas Brothers concert the same say, in a
nice seat! And I would like to give to other people the tips that I used to
go, and in my opinion, this magazine it will be awesome! Because it has
the information that all girls want nowadays! How to exercise, make up,
love, books, movies, etc.

Ninette: I think doing this magazine will be so fun and easy because
were researching about topics that actually, were interested in and we
are embracing topics that are important and every girl should know. I also
think that this magazine will have success because we all are working as a
team to make it perfect.

Karen: One of my favorite things in the entire world is makeup. I think is

so important for women because it helps to give confidence and at the
same time it make up look prettier and with a little of imagination you
can do make up in so many ways and create beautiful looks for any day. I
chose make up as my topic because one day I want to become in a
makeup artist and can help and teach people how to bring up their
beauty and feel happy. Our magazine is a typical teenage magazine with
beauty and love topics but I think the final product will be amazing and
perfect to read for any young women because is write it by us and we
know what girls of our age wants.

Zared: I choose to talk about this section because I love to exercise and
would like to give advices to people who want a fit and sexy body. I think
every women is beautiful and deserves to be respect, as we want to
someone love us, we have to love ourselves and keep us in health. A
person who cares about his or her body figure is someone who doesnt
need to be approved by the society stereotypes, he or she knows that to be
fitter means to see you in the mirror and see an incredible women with the
power of been mother, daughter, wife, hard-working, and an amazing
person. In my opinion this activity of designing a magazine is a great idea
of work in vocabulary and work in teams checking our mistakes and helping
us each other.
