La localidad y el verbo estar

This is a great game I usually do in centers because it usually
doesnt take a lot of time. It focuses on creating sentences using
location words and the verb estar. I focused on est (singular) and
estn (plural) in this game. They need to establish which form of
estar is used and in what order.
The first two pages have FOUR different versions of the game, with
instructions in English (designated with the number in a box). The
following two pages are recording sheets. If they have the game
with the number one in a box, they record their sentences on the
lines that correspond with the game.
While playing the game, the students each take a turn rolling the
dice and creating a sentence. If a student rolls a sentence that has
already been created, they lose their turn and the die move to the
next person. If a person incorrectly writes the sentence, another
person may choose to take their turn to either change the mistake
or write a new sentence.
To put together the game:
1. You need 2 different colored dies. Designate which color is
dado #1 and which is dado #2)
2. Cut the pages in half, each full page has 2 different examples
of location words and places.
3. Place one half sized piece of paper and two different colors of
dice in a baggie/basket/whatever suits you!
