1. Subject to the terms and conditions outlined below, this contract will be for a fixed term
commencing on and terminating on at which time it will automatically expire unless otherwise
agreed in writing between you and the company.
2. Notwithstanding that this contract is for a fixed term and the company reserves the right to
terminate your employment at any time prior to the expiry of the fixed term defined above by
giving you not less than two weeks notice in writing. This could occur for any business reason
that the organisation deems appropriate.

Your normal hours of work are Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. (with one hour for lunch
break which must be taken between 12.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m.) and such other hours as may be
reasonably required for the proper performance of your duties. Overtime is not paid.

6. You will be subject to the terms and conditions as agreed and amended from time to time by the
company as outlined in its policies, procedures, handbooks and other relevant documents.

Your salary will be per month by credit transfer on the 25th day of each month or the nearest
working day to that date.

8. If the Company makes an overpayment to you to which you are not entitled, or is more than that
to which you are entitled, you agree to allow the Company to recover the overpayment by
deductions from your salary or other payments due to you. Any deductions will normally be made
over the same period that the overpayment was made. It is in your interests to regularly check
your pay slips.

The Holiday Year runs from 1st January to 31st December and holiday entitlement accrues on a
pro rata basis for each completed month of employment. In a complete holiday year your paid
holiday entitlement is 20 working days plus normal public holidays. This holiday entitlement is
inclusive of your statutory holiday entitlement under the Regulations which shall, in each Holiday
Year, be deemed taken first. Actual holiday dates must be agreed with your manager as early as
possible and at least one month in advance. Management will normally try to accommodate

individual preferences for holiday dates but the needs of the business may have to take
precedence, particularly where inadequate notice is given.
10. You are obliged to give the Company 2 weeks notice to terminate your contract of employment.
The Company is obliged to give you the same 2 weeks notice before terminating your contract or
the statutory minimum amount of notice before terminating your contract.
11. This post is subject to the completion of a 1 month probationary period. During this period, one
weeks notice may be given by either party to terminate this contract.
12. Should the need for disciplinary action be deemed necessary, this will be taken in accordance
with the Company Policy and Procedure on Disciplinary Action. You have a right of appeal against
this as outlined in the Procedure.
13. If you have a grievance in relation to your employment, then you should follow the procedure
outlined in the code of business conduct. You should initially discuss any grievance with your
immediate superior.
14. If you are unable to come to work for any reason you (or someone on your behalf) must inform
the manager by 9.30a.m. on the first day of absence. Failure to do so may render you subject to
disciplinary action. In notifying the Company you should indicate the reason for your absence and
its likely duration.
15. All days of absence because of illness must be covered by a medical certificate. For the first two
days a Company self certificate will be acceptable. For illnesses of more than two days a doctor's
certificate must also be produced on the third day and thereafter. The Company reserves the right
to ask you at any time to have a medical examination (the cost of which will be borne by the
Company) by a doctor acceptable to the Company. You agree that, if requested by the Company,
you will give written permission to allow the Company to have access to any medical report
prepared by such doctor.
16. If your absence through illness lasts for less than three days you should complete a Company
self-certificate on return to work and hand it in to your manager.
17. Should you realise that your illness will last for more than two days you should contact the office
and ask for a certificate to be sent to you at home which you should complete and return by post.
18. In the course of your employment you may have access to confidential material both in paper and
electronic form. On no account should this information be divulged to any unauthorised person.
Breaches of confidentiality will be dealt with through the Company Policy and Procedure on
Disciplinary Action.
19. The Company has a code of conduct and several conduct policies. If you breach such code of
conduct or policies this will be considered gross misconduct. In these circumstances you will be
subject to formal investigation under the Companys disciplinary procedures, and disciplinary
action up to and including dismissal may be applied.
