A Christmas Tale

Narrator: Good afternoon!!! I am here to tell you a story... The story of a

christmas tree on christmas eve...

(x-mas tree enters and stays still, santa enters with the present)
Santa: ho ho ho I bring presents!!!(santa then directs to the audience)- Hello
children!!! Do you know who I am??? Im Santa Klaus and I come on xmas
eve to make families get together to celebrate their love and union and to
remember that what is important is to cherrish these moments!! Oh I hear
noises, I should go!! Ill leave this hear....(santa rushes out)
Present: hey! Hey you! ( the present calls from the corner)
Xmas tree: who me?
Present: yes. Who are you?
Xmas tree: dont you know?? Im a christmas tree!!! ( the present freezes)
Do you know the story about the christmas tree?? Many many years ago
christians used to keep an evergreen tree during the winter to remember
that the green fields would appear again after the winter was over.... when
the years passed by it became a tradition to decorate the tree in the winter
time...which starts on December... and Christmas is also in December so it
became a Christmas symbol! (the present moves)
Present: oh I see...
Xmas tree: and what are you doing here?
Present: well Im a present ! Im trying to hide... I am a surprise for the kids (
present directs to the audience and says) But only for good kids!!!
Xmas tree: I dont know where you can hide...
Present: you are very big.... I could hide under you!!
Xmas tree: thats not a good idea...
Present: yes it is! ( the present tries to get under the tree but the tree keep
moving)
Xmas tree: go away!
Present: come here!! (finally the tree lets the present hide)
Xmas tree: what a persistent present!!

(someone enters bringing the xmas star)

Xmas tree: and you are???
Xmas star: I am here to represent the star of Bethlehem, from the day that
baby Jesus was Born!! And to decorate you off course!!
Xmas tree: decorate me?? Noooo I am already decorated and...( the tree
notices that the star is trying to clim on it)- what are you doing??
Xmas star: I-am-de-co-ra-ting-you (each silable is a jump) ahhh there you
go... much better!
Present: look! Its snowing!! What is that coming?
(snowflake comes from the back of the anphitheater)
Snowflake: wow its hot in here!! Hello I am a snowflake!! A very small piece
from the snow!! And do you know tha there isnt a snowflake like the other??
We are all different and thats what makes us beautiful!! Oh how Nice you
are all together... can I join you?
Xmas tree: sure!! Everyone is welcome!!
(santa enters)
Santa: and that is the xmas christmas spirit!!! To celebrate together and
spread Love and Charity!!! I wish you all a Merry Xmas!!!
(everybody sings: we wish you a merry xmas
