Dont Stay Away From Technology

Some people have taken strange steps to avoid using technology. One man locked his Wi-Fi router and
phone inside a safe with a timer. Some go to expensive summer camps where you are not allowed to use
phones or cameras.
2-1 TRUE/FALSE: According to the article, there is a camp where people are encouraged to use technology.

Technology is getting harder to avoid. In the US, almost the entire country has Internet access. Only a
few deserts and mountains dont. Internet access used to be rare in countries like Laos and Bhutan, but things
are changing.
2-2 TRUE/FALSE: The article states that only a few places in the US do not have Internet access.

Instead of staying away from technology, why not use it to enjoy nature more? Use an app to identify a
bird or a star. Look for directions using the Internet, instead of a map. Just avoid checking your work email or
going on social media. Technology can improve your trip, if you use it the right way.
2-3 TRUE/FALSE: A phone with Internet access can replace a map.
