In 2011, Yoed Anis [YOW-ed AH-nis] started the Texas Sake Company. It is the first and only
company that creates sake in the state. Anis, the companys president, learned all about sake after studying in
Japan. He started the company because he wanted to show people that sake can also be a Texan drink.
