Our Credo
We at Quirk, know the importance of teamwork. We know this trait is
what enables us to serve our clients better and faster. At Quirk, we respect
and promote diversity and encourage attendance of personal development
seminars. We also promote an environment where everyone can voice their
opinion, engage in a healthy debate and then rally around the agreed-upon
action with full support. This enables us to have a better business built on
formidable teamwork.
We are the prime example of ambition. The reasons why we are number
one in the market for cleaning services are because we continue to deliver
superior customer experiences through our services. Everything we do is
based on our strong network. Our services are known for have tremendous
quality and reliability.

We know that the customers are our bosses. We focus on the

customers needs; we make it easy for them to communicate with us, by
listening, anticipating and responding to their needs. We make sure that we
are held accountable for our work and that we follow through with urgency
when our customer needs something.
We give back to the community. We reward customer loyalty by giving
back to their community. In the past, weve built parks and contributed to the
schools and we will continue to do so. The community is our strong network
and the community is what keeps us in business.
We understand that
We strive to improve. We know that our best is never our best, that there
is always room for improvement. We can sleep happily tonight knowing that
we did our best for today but tomorrow, well do better.
Connect and Reflect
The day described in my audit is a typical Monday & Wednesday for
me. For the past 3 years I have lived my day from 13:00 onwards till Midnight
has not changed. Ive always been a night person when it comes to studying
and getting things done. Unfortunately, my attempts to become a morning
person have been futile. As you can see, I spend a lot of time and energy on
fitness and sports training during the day and a lot of time and energy
studying at night. As a student-athlete, I try to put my energy in academics

first, but the will to win on the course and the competitive spirit I possess
makes me put Golf first between the two.
I do believe that Im spending my time and energy in ways that reflect
my values. Golf is an individual sport, so growing up I learnt to be
independent, confident, courageous, and persevering. Coming to the United
States for college, and playing team golf has taught me a lot more. As a
team we look out for each other, and loyalty and teamwork is what makes us
stronger. I believe that the time I spend on the course with the team has
improved all the values that I want in my life.
I strongly believe that I did follow my credo statement. Teamwork,
ambition, and improvement is ingrained in us as athletes. Playing my sport
has taught me the importance and value of these traits. However, I do wish
that my team and I could give back to our community more. We get a lot of
support, and I feel its right to give back to our DePaul Community.
The Knights Templar
The nice thing about teamwork is that you always have others on your side.
-Margaret Carty
There was this retreat that I did in my junior year of high school. We
had to spend a 2 nights in the wilderness and find our way back to camp.
When I look back to it, I simply laugh. I see this posh me, who grew up

playing Golf and wearing Polos and Rolexes the entire time, and all of a
sudden I see myself again, except this time Im in the forest, with dirt all over
me after I fell in the swamp. Yes, swamp - I itched for days after that
incident.
The reason why my parents enrolled me in this retreat was to teach me
humility and the value of teamwork. Playing a rich and also an individual
sport such as Golf made me arrogant and now that I look back, Im sure this
retreat has changed me for the best.
The guys who were with me and I had two things in common. One, we
all wanted to get out of this place. Two, we didnt even know what teamwork
meant. We did sort of try to come together to get out of it, but when it
counted most we werent there for each other.
The turning point happened when I fell into a swamp and the guys had
to rescue me. For some reason they thought I didnt know how to swim; Kind
of weird, seeing that I had a swimming pool in my house. But that moment
when they rescued me changed us all from working as individuals into an
actual team.
We still talk to each other, those guys are like my brothers. And in the
second night when we told stories to each other, one of them was about the
Knights Templar. We all wanted to be like them, and decided to call ourselves

that. Looking back, I had a terrific childhood along with my brothers from the
Knights Templar.
