*A person age 18-20 can only obtain a Texas LTC if he or she is a member or
veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces. As of January 1, 2017, there were a maximum
of 470 active Texas LTCs held by military personnel and veterans age 18-20. In
that age range, that's approximately one Texan out of every 2,624, or 0.0381%.
As of January 1, 2017, the rate of LTC licensure among Texans age 21-23 is
approximately 2%, or one person out of every 49.
As of January 1, 2017, the rate of LTC licensure among Texans age 18-23 is
approximately 1.03%, or one person out of every 97.
(This is up from roughly 0.75%, or one person out of every 133, on January 1, 2016.)
In 2016, 0.118% of LTC holders between the ages of 18 and 23 had their licenses revoked.
