ADVANTAGES 1. In addition to knowledge and other forms of information gained, the students learn how to gather valuable data and relevant observations. 2. The skill in organizing and recording data in a clear and orderly manner is developed. Recognizing relevant and useful data follows. 3. Through constant practice the ability to formulate conclusions and generalizations based on sufficient data is enhanced. 4. The student becomes aware of the research methodologies including time and effort that were undertaken by scientist, thus developing a deep sense of appreciation and gratitude for their achievements. GUIDELINES 1. The students must be informed clearly about the objectives of the activity. They must be informed regarding the criteria by which they will be evaluated 2. Make sure that the needed materials and equipment are available and ready for use at the specified time. 3. Assign research activity according to the students level of competence in research process that will be employed. 4. Guide the direction of the research by checking on the progress being made, asking guide questions along the way or disregarding irrelevant date recorded. 5. Include as many primary sources of information as possible such as additional readings, interviews and simple case studies. 6. Sharing research findings strengthens favorable attitudes and values.

Group the class into seven and assigned them different kinds of handicraft. They will be going to research for an example each members of the group. This will be presented next meeting.
