Dear Hugo,
Thank you for taking the time to speak with us. During our conversation, we determined that you may be
eligible for an Economic Hardship deferment. Please complete, sign, and return the enclosed form along
with the necessary documentation. To help you, weve included step-by-step instructions on the
back of this letter.
The sooner you return this form to us, the sooner your delinquency may be resolved. Also, you may
receive other benefits of deferment, including:

No Payments! Payments will be postponed, freeing up money and giving you one less thing
to worry about each month.

No More Phone Calls! Wont it be great to stop the endless calls and letters youve been
getting about your missed payments?

No More Late Fees! You may save money because you wont have to pay late fees on
missed payments.

No More Bad Credit! A deferment can stop the damage to your credit record that occurs
each time you miss a scheduled payment. This may help you in the future when you apply
for a credit card, car loan, or mortgage.

Remember, to return your loans to good standing and get the other benefits of deferment, you must sign
and date the form and return it with the necessary documentation as soon as possible.
Please note that you must continue to make your scheduled monthly payments until your lender notifies
you that your deferment has been approved.
If you have any questions, were here to help you! Please feel free to contact us at (800) 236-2700.
Sincerely,

Beth Erickson
