Shivneri Polytechnic is affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) and
conduct courses approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
This Polytechnic is the Institute established by the Shivneri Foundation, Alephata in the year 2008.
It offers Three Years (1O+ level) Diploma courses in Engineering and Technology in the branches of Electronics and
Tele-Communication, Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
It has produced excellent results in MSBTE examination with many of the students securing ranks. Efforts are being
made to add some more branches of Engineering.
The Polytechnic is fully equipped with modern infrastructure facilities such as spacious lecture halls, fully developed
laboratories, library, reading rooms and computer labs. It has qualified and experienced faculty that makes the
backbone of the Institute. The staff is dedicated and this is the reason that Shivneri Polytechnic
could achieve such high teaching standards.

Course in Civil Engineering since 2010.Department of
Civil Engineering has intake of 60 students.
This branch deals with design and construction of Civil
Engineering structures, such as Residential, Industrial,
Commercial buildings, roads & Bridges , dams & canals ,
Infrastructures, Public buildings like Hospitals , Schools,
PHC, Court Buildings, Airports, Docks, Ports, Sports
Complexes, etc. In its most general form Civil Engineering
deals with the development of Civil Engineering projects
based on latest information of population of the country
and apply the knowledge into real life of society.
Civil Engineer can generate self employment by starting
his own Business as sub-contractor, labour supplier,
Materials supplier etc. Civil engineering diploma holders
may even start their own venture with a very little
investment, also may work as Civil
Engineer, town
MECHANICAL engineering DEPARTMENT

Department has state of the art Mechanical
Engineering Lab with Advance CNC
Machines, Lathe machines, etc. The
Mechanical Department has huge workshop
and well equipped labs for enriching the
knowledge of student with best quality
education. Department regularly conducts
training programs and Technical seminars for
enhancement of technical knowledge of
student. We provide practical base teaching.
The students have carried out various
ambitious projects. We adopt advance
teaching methods such as digital lecture, ppts,
video conferencing etc.

Infrastructure
LABORATORIES AND WORKSHOP
Shivneri Polytechnic takes pride in its marvelous well-equipped and well- designed
laboratories and workshops. All machines and equipments needed for the prescribed
curriculum are available in the laboratories and workshops, which are managed by
qualified and experienced staff. Various laboratories, well designed electronics
laboratories and applied science (Physics and Chemistry) laboratories. CNC-machine
shop and workshops provide ideal learning place for our students.
DRAWING HALLS
The institute has well-lit, large drawing halls equipped with specially fabricated
drawing tables.
CAFETERIA/CANTEEN
A spacious and clean cafeteria is managed by a professional caterer provides a diverse
and quality food at affordable price on the self-service counters. Due care is taken to
maintain hygienic conditions in the canteen.
CONFERENCE HALL / SEMINAR HALL
Seminar hall is equipped with modern audio-visual facilities. This facility provides an
ideal location for our students to attend the lectures by guests from Industries.
STUDENTS CO-OPERATIVE STORE
The specious student co-operative store meets the basic requirements of stationaries as
well as photo copy in the Institute premises.
GYMKHANA
There is a well-equipped section of gymnasium for those interested in exercise and
bodybuilding.

HOSTEL ACCOMMODATION

Institute has limited hostel facility for students. Hostel is located near the Institute.
Interested students can apply immediately after admissions. Hostel allotment is done on
the basis of students academic credential and location.
CLASS ROOMS
We have spacious, airy and well-lit classrooms that provide stimulating and conducive
ambience for studying.
LANGUAGE LAB
The institute houses a full-fledged Language Laboratory.
LIBRARY
The library is equipped with well stocked volumes of text books, reference books. The
entire collection of books is readily available to students and teachers either for current
reading in the library or for home issue at the circulation counter. Library also provides
book bank facility for needy students.
The central library comprises of two spacious, airy and well-lit reading halls that
provide stimulating and conducive ambience for studying. Reference book section
provides enough material for more inquisitive and inquiring minds.
E-LIBRARY
The institute has updated modern e-library facility with more than 20 PC s with LAN
and high-speed internet connection where e-resources and e-documents can be searched
within a short span of time. With the help of e-library students can easily obtain
information about their courses and projects to enhance their knowledge.
