Introduction
Piling has been used very widely and the rapid rate of development of commercial
buildings and infrastructures require intensive use of pilings. Like all new development, there
has been considerable time between the development of improved design method and
their implementation in practice. This process can be accelerated by sharing ideas and
insemination of the knowledge. Pile 2013, in an international conference to response the
development by presenting State of the Art of Pile Foundation and Pile Case Histories.
The conference is organised by the Faculty of Engineering, Parahyangan Catholic
University, Indonesia and Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanic (IRSM), Chinese Academy of
Science Wuhan, China under the auspices of Indonesian Geotechnical Society (HATTI,
International Society of Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering (ISSMGE) and The
International Information Center for Geoprofessionals (Geo Engineer). You are invited to
participate in the conference and contribute papers.

Call for Papers

You are invited to submit abstract and full papers of 6 pages for oral presentation. Papers
must be original, unpublished work containing new and interesting results that
demonstrate current research and case histories of piles.
Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the
paper. All papers are to be submitted electronically in Word format. All papers will be peer
reviewed by independent referees who are experts in each topic.
