ZXSDR OMMB Patch Upgrade Guide

Prerequisites

The current version on site must be ZXSDR OMMB V12.12.40P55.

OMMB is installed as user omc. All operations are performed by user omc
without special instruction.

The
OMMB
server
of
the
/home/omc/netnumen/ommb/
/home/omc/netnumen/ommb_bak.

The SID for the OMMB server of the source version is ommb. Note: Open the
terminal, run /home/omc/netnumen/ommb/install/bin/linux-systemInfo.sh to
obtain the SID.

The patch set is saved in /home/omc.

When data is backed up by the database backup tool, the backed-up data is
saved in /home/omc/dbbackup (run mkdir to create if the directory does not
exist). The current user is with the right to read and write in this directory.

To describe the OMM High-Availability (HA) upgrading better, board A and


board B are used to refer to the two OMM boards. Before upgrading, board A is
the active board (the board on the right) and board B is the standby board (the
board on the left).

Installing patch does not refer to GUI, so the commands mentioned in this text
can be run in all the terminals.
