Problems encountered by TESDA:

Since trainings are free, they seldom encounter problems except for when during the
programs, students drop out of trainings because of financial issues since they are

required to buy the materials that they use for their trainings
TESDA offers assessments or TESDA certificates as they call it, national assessments.
TESDA Cavite, (Paliparan specifically) only offers up to NC3 since there are only a few

training centers.
TESDA branches: Paliparan, Trece (main), EPZA Rosario
Contact #s: 419-0228, 419-2421
Limited trainings in TESDA Paliparan. Barista, Bread & Pastry Production, Food &
Bevarages NC2, Housekeeping are not offered but can be taken in private schools (which

are paid by TESDA)

TESDA Paliparan offers regular training here and community-based wherein trainees go

to organizations to conduct trainings in barangays)

Beneficiaries aside from students:

PWD
Mothers and Fathers without jobs
Entrepreneurship trainings
(Competency based training > modules> activities (few lectures, training hours etc)

Strengths: ACTUAL trainings, helps in abroad

Weaknesses: Small space of the training center means limited number of beneficiaries, under
staff because the training center only offers 5 courses, websites are offered but they are not
updated
Website: tesda.gov.ph
TESDA counterpart in Singapore: ITE (Institute of Technical Education)

Impact Evaluation Study: after the training, theres an evaluation for the
performance of the trainer, curriculum etc

There are no negative feedbacks since they are able to give and satisfy the needs
of the beneficiaries, because the beneficiaries enjoyed the activities since they are
given actual trainings
