Dear Madam Claudia Iordache,

The undersigned Delia Gratiela Mitroi, I interestedly found out , from the site www.fundatia.ro,
about the possibility of the conducting of a internship at the Open Society Foundation. Animated by
optimism, enthusiasm and the desire to take contact directly with your foundation, I chose to apply for
an internship in this institution.
I benefited a three years University education , at the University of Bucharest, Faculty of
Letters, Department of European Cultural Studies , under the guidance of the best teachers in the field
of International Relations and European Cultural Studies. Currently, I follow the same Universitys
master program, being a student in the second year of the Culture and Politics in European and
International Context Master.
I am convinced that an internship for the Public Policy Department of the Open Society
Foundation would determine me to accumulate a piece of valuable knowledge , theoretically as
practically and this knowledge would become very useful for my possible career in the implementation
of the Public Policy.
The reasons that make me believe that Im appropriate for this internship are connected with my
personal ambition to work in the Education field, as my professional experience gained over time.
First, although I have not got a wide experience in the Education and Public Policy fields, I can
affirm that I am not at all stranger of these domains. On the contrary, they were always in my attention
through the experience of my other past internships or jobs. For example, in 2011, I was part of a
project of the Eurospirit Foundation from Ploiesti, project who developed the portal
www.gazetaromana.ro , where I published even some educational articles. Also, currently, Im
realizing an internship in the European Institute of Romania at the Department of Formation where Ive
recently developed a number of organizing skills and competences ( I took part at the organization of a
workshop training entitled How to apply the good Regio practices and of the course Expertise in
Public Procurement).
Secondly, I think I would face the challenges arising during this stage as I have got a solid
knowledge regarding the opened governments principles whose terms I master very well since I was in
college.
Thirdly, the qualities and the skills acquired over the years of my intense study recommend me
to collaborate with the professional members of The Open Society Foundation. Also, the capacity to

win and keep the trust of the people who I cooperate with is one of my most important quality. All
these are completing the professional and linguistic skills that I hold (available in my CV).
In conclusion, if you consider that my motivation and my qualifications are appropriate to
obtain the internship offered by your Foundation, I will be available any time to be contacted to discuss
the details of a possible collaboration. Thank you!

Yours,
Delia Gratiela Mitroi
