recount, kerangka/bagian teks recount serta ciri-ciri kebahasaan teks recount.

The purpose
Teks recount adalah sebuah wacana tulis yang bertujuan menceritakan serangkaian peristiwa
yang dialami baik pengalaman individu (Personal Recount) maupun orang lain (Factual Recount)

I think my first memories began when I started school at about five years old. I lived in a
suburb of Sydney. I had a happy childhood. I remember playing in a big gaden.
I fell from a
tree and broke my hand. I had to stay home for two weeks. I had a naughty friend named giant O,
because he was fat. He like hitting and pulling my head. It was so pathetic. One day I hit him
over the head with my bag. His parents were very angry with me. But I didnt feel sorry at all at
that time. Nevertheles, since the Giant O has become my good friend. It was such unforgettable
childhood.

Picasso was one of the most outstanding and important artist of the 1900s. He is best known
for his paintings. Almost every style in modern art is represented in Picassos works Picasso was
born in 1881 in Malaga,Spain as the son of an art teacher. He studied painting with his father and
also in madridFrom about 1895 to 1901 he painted realistic works in a traditional style. Then he
entered what was called the Blue Period. During this time the only used shades of blue in his
paintings to show poverty he saw in Barcelona.
After 1907, he entered intothe style of cubbism. Among his wellknown cubbist paintings are
The Tree Musicians and The Man with a Guitarwhich depict the destruction of a spanish
town. Picasso died in France in 1973

dengan tokohnya I maupun pengalaman orang lain (teks 2)

Orientation
Orientasi dapat di terjemahkan sebagai awal atau pembuka cerita. Pada tahap ini sering di
sebutkan penokohan, waktu dan tempat kejadian atau latar cerita.
Pada teks 1 diatas di sebutkan bahwa tokoh sentralnya adalah saya (I). Waktu kejadian cerita
itu ketika tokoh tersebut berusia lima tahun (Five years old). Sedangkan tempat peristiwa itu
terjadi di sebuah taman yang luas (a big garden) Pada teks 2, Picasso adalah tokohnya.
Sedangkan latar peristiwa tersebut tahun 1900-an.
Events
Events dapat di katakan sebagai rangkaian peristiwa atau kejadian yang di alami oleh tokoh
cerita.
Pada teks 1 dikatakan bahwa peristiwa yang dialami oleh tokoh cerita adalah tangannya patah
ketika ia terjatuh dari pohon (I fell from a tree and broke my hand). Kejadian berkesan kedua
ketika ia memukul kepala temannya dengan sebuah tas (One day I hit him over the head with
my bag. Pada teks 2 disebutkan bahwa Picasso belajar melukis kepada ayahnya dan Picasso
meninggal di Francis.

Evaluation
Evaluation bersifat optional atau pilihan. Optional dapat diartikan bahwa pada teks Recount
tahap evaluasi boleh atau tidak perlu diungkapkan. Evaluation merupakan pendapat atau
komentar penulis atau tokoh tentang peristiwa yang dialami.
Re-Orientation
Re-Orientation merupakan kesimpulan dari rangkaian peristiwa yang dialami. Re-Orientation
bersifat optional.
