Abstract
A passport is a must when you plan to travel out of your country of
residence. It is an identity card that endorses your legitimate citizenship.
Without a valid passport, you will not be allowed to enter any country. When

The main objective of Highly Secured E-Passport System is to provide

the protection to the users passport from the fraud passports. The previous
system has lots of draw backs and disadvantages like in the form of a book
which can be corrupted easily by interchanging the photo graph and signature of
the user. By using this project we can give more protection to the passport.
While applying the passport the finger print and the image of eye is taken by the
bio matric devices and is verified by the adathar bio-metric information. If it is
satisfied then the id is generated else the passport is rejected. By using this
project we can find the terrorist and fraud people who are using the duplicate id
proof and address.

Existing System
At

first,

the

applicant

is

given

the

application

form.

Theapplicant returns the application duly filled up with all the details.
After returning the application the administrator awards with a file number to
that applicant. This file number plays the major role in the entire
administrative procedure. Using the file number administrator enters all the
details.

lifications. If any one of these are found to be invalid then that particular section
is stopped for process and the confirmation is being stopped. Next section
consists entirely of validating all the details like police records, validation of the
amount paid, previous applied and submission of all the documents including

then the file is sent to the passport writing section. Then the passport writing
is done and dispatched. Also an ability of the applicant to enquire about the
status of his application can be known through the enquiry section.
