1. On 2014 10 22 at approximately 10:00am,
Michael Joseph
Paul Zehaf Bibcau from Bumaby, British Columbia (BC) opened fire in the vicinity of the
Canadian National War Memorial and Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Canada, killing a
uniformed Canadian Forces soldier standing guard at the Canadian National War MemoriaL
Bibeau was later shot and killed by law enforcement inside the Centre Block of Parliament
Full. At the time of this assesmeut, law enforcement officials continue to pursue at least one
more gunman.

Extremist Attack on Canadian Military Personnel in Quebec

On 2014 10 20 at approcimately 1130 hrs EST a single male drove his vehicle
into two uniformed members of the CanadIan Forces as they exited a caf in the town of
St iean-sur-Richelieu, in the province of Quebec. One of the soldiers was critically injured;
injuries to the second were reported to be minor. The driver fled the scene in his vehicle but
crashed approximately four kilometers away while being pursued by local police. He then
exited the car and was shot after threatening officers with a knife.
