Introduction of Malaysia

Good morning to the honourable judges, teachers and my fellow friends. Today
we are going to present a conversation between Ali and his best friend, Tago
from Japan by skype.
Ali: Good morning Tago, how are you recently?
Tago: Good morning dear Ali, I am fine in Tokyo. Ali, you are from Malaysia right?
Ali: Yup Tago, Why?
Tago: Oh Can you do me a favour Ali?
Ali: Sure Tago. What is it?
Tago: Like this, I am going to submit a report about introduction of other country.
Therefore can you introduce your country briefly so that I can write my
report?
Ali: Of course Tago. Lets start!
Tago: Oh Wait a minute Ali, I go and take my notebook with pen right now.
Ali: Alright. Malaysia is one of a beautiful Tropicana country from Southeast Asia.
And Malaysia is comprised of 13 state and 2 federal district.
Tago: Emm, is the division of state and federal district same as the division of
Japans state?
Ali: You are right Tago. Malaysia is divided into Peninsular Malaysia in the West
and East Malaysia, part of the Borneo archipelago.
Tago: Yaya, as the world map shown. (pretend look at hand)
Ali: Besides that, Malaysia is a multi-races country! There are so many races like
Malays, Chinese, Indians, Ibans, Sikhs, Bajau, Dusun and others. Each race
has their own culture and custom.

Tago: Wow, so many races! Unlike Japan, only Japanese on board haha.
Ali: Yup. Other than that, Malaysia is rich of cities, the splendor of its cultural arts
and natural heritage of rich flora and fauna.
Tago: Is there any cultural attraction and reserved forest in Malaysia?
Ali: Definitely got, Tago. Let me give some examples, like Taman Negara at
Pahang State, Belum reserved forest at Perak State, Baba Nyonya Heritage
Museum at Melaka State and other cultural art centers.
Tago: Wow, it seems every state got their own cultural art attraction. Am I right.
Ali: You are right Tago. Other than cultural art attraction, you may visit to
Religious sites of all races in Malaysia. For example: Putra Jaya Mosque at
Kuala Lumpur and Crystal Mosque at Kuala Terengganu for Islam Prayers,
Thean Hou Temple at Kuala Lumpur for Buddhist, St Annes Church at
Penang for Christian, Batu Caves Temple for Hindu Prayers and many more.
Tago: Amazing! As you know, we will gain knowledge and know the culture of one
race through the religious site.
Ali: Multiculturalism has not only made Malaysia a gastronomical paradise, it has
also made Malaysia home to hundreds of colourful festivals. We celebrate all
races festivals!
Tago: All races festivals? I am envious of you right now Ali.
Ali: We celebrate Chinese New Year for Chinese, Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari
Raya Haji for Malays, Thaipusam and Deepavalli for Indians, Christmas days
for Christian, Gawai days for Iban and so on.
Tago: There are so different between Japan and Malaysia! Malaysia is so lucky
because of multiculturalism!
Ali: Indeed Tago. Geographically, Malaysia is as diverse as its culture. As a
Malaysian, we are naturally relaxed, warm and friendly.

Tago: I agree with you. You are so friendly Ali.

Ali: Besides that, Malaysia has the world's most beautiful beaches, with sparkling
sand and crystal waters. Perhentian Island and Redang Island at
Terengganu State, Langkawi Island at Kedah State, Pangkor Island at Perak
State and so on.
Tago: I can imagine how wonderful if I have a visit to all those islands! Ali, you
know I love islands so much!
Ali: Although Malaysia is a country near to the equator, Cool hideaways are found
in the highlands that roll down to warm, sandy beaches and rich, humid
mangroves!
Tago: Unbelievable, Malaysia has cool hideaways too?
Ali: Definitely Tago. For example, Cameron Highlands, Genting Highlands and
Fraser Highlands are the 3 main cool hideaways in Malaysia! You may visit
the Kuala Selangor Nature Park to see the humid mangroves and the
fireflies!
Tago: I never see fireflies at Tokyo And Japan doesnt have so much variety of
destinations as Malaysia have! It is so unique Malaysia got cool hideaways,
beautiful islands which consists of sandy beaches, natural park which rich
of flora and fauna, cultural art centers and so many other attractions!
Ali: Yaya. Although I am a Malaysian but there are so many others attractions I
didnt visit yet. In short , I am proud to be a Malaysian.
Tago: Ya, I wish I can visit to Malaysia one day. Thank you Ali for helping me so
much, I have to go out now. Chat next time ya.
