Greetings,

With much prayer, and approval of my family, I am officially announcing that I am running for the Office of
Constable, Rankin County District Four. The Constable's Office is an essential element of the Justice System, which
serves the civil needs of the public. The primary responsibility of the Constable, is serving civil process, executing
court orders, serving warrants, and enforcing the State Laws of Mississippi.
A Constable must have a professional working relationship with area law enforcement agencies, where efforts and
resources can be coordinated, providing the most effective community law enforcement. This collective teamwork
theory reduces crime and taxpayer cost.
A Constable needs to perform his duties effectively and efficiently. I am committed to professionalism, integrity
and fairness, and will promote these same qualities in the District Four Constable's Office. To maintain the safety of
the community, its law enforcement must be highly trained, proactive, dependable and be respectful of all of its
citizens in which it serves, regardless of race, sex, nationality or culture.
My commitment to public service has been proven in my service to my country and my dedication towards law
enforcement, which expands twenty years. I am a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and
the Mississippi National Guard NCO Association. I continue to serve today in the Mississippi Army National Guard
and was awarded the Bronze Star during my tour of duty while serving in Iraq, where I was assigned to nearly 200
combat missions and led approximately 100 other missions. I have demonstrated my leadership and decision
making skills, and utilize those skills daily as a Patrol Supervisor with the City of Ridgeland Police Department.
With honor, I served the citizens here in Rankin County as a law enforcement officer, with both the Pearl River
Valley Water Supply District and the City of Flowood, for nearly ten years.
I, along with my wife Lynnette, a lifelong resident of Rankin County, are the proud parents of four children. C.J. is a
graduate of Mississippi State University, Kristen will be a junior at Northwest Rankin, and the twins, Hayden and
Hunter, attend Oakdale Elementary. We have been members of Crossgates Baptist Church for over seven years. I
am a graduate of the Mississippi Law Enforcement Officers Training Academy, and the only candidate that is
certified through the State of Mississippi Board of Law Enforcement Standards and Training.
I hope to earn your support and confidence during the Republican Primary Season, and your vote on Election Day,
August 4th, 2015.
